„We checked into the outdoor area with a bedroom, that’s the only way to describe it. The area was not secure and people walked in and passed every day. It is not safe for your pet (booked as stated pet friendly, but the place is open and not secure, so the dog wandered off a few times. As for the unit, there was mould everywhere even inside the bedroom. Kitchen was run down and dirty, mouldy salt sachets were one of the few condiments supplied. „Amazing property that is as good in reality as it looks, we could have stayed here much longer and I would definitely recommend or stay again. The property was huge, the private villa pool was lovely, we used the gym and bouldering wall as well as watching the sunset on the private beach. Communication is first class. The only consideration for anyone else is that you really need a car to stay here.“

„On arrival we were greeted by our friendly valet,Dean who gave us instructions on our buggy use and showed us some highlights of Hamilton Island on the way to our accomodation. We had access to a buggy the whole stay which was perfect to get around and oh so easy to use. Our accomodation was wonderful with AMAZING views. „Absolutely loved staying in our apartment… very easy check in process and check out process stress free Arrived to our buggy our luggage delivered to our door .. location was fantastic 1 min ride into town , view to die for … the apartment suited our family 4 adults everyone had their own space … the apartment had everything you needed full kitchen , laundry , bbq outdoor area … can’t fault the apartment at all … plus the apartment block has its own pool can’t recommend the unit enough :) “

„Das Shingley Beach Resort liegt etwas außerhalb in der Nähe des Yachthafens. Wir hatten ein ausreichend großes Appartment mit sehr schönen Blick auf den Yachthafen. Frühstücksmöglichkeit gibt es auf dem Gelände. Schöner Pool. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. “

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Reef View Hotel. The transfer from the airport to the hotel was very pleasant. The welcome at reception was excellent and the hotel and surrounding area were very well explained to us. The rooms are very large and we had a great sea view from the 10th floor. A small negative aspect is that the rooms are a bit dated and you can see this in one or two places. A renovation is necessary from our point of view. The breakfast buffet offered a varied selection. The choice of excursions is also very varied, but sometimes also very expensive. A big plus point is the free rental of non-motorized water sports. All in all, we liked the Reef View Hotel very much and would definitely come back again. "

"Hotelzimmer war sauber und in guten Zustand, nur schlafen war sehr schwer, da neben den Zimmer die Glascontainer waren die von den Barmitarbeiter zu jeder Tag und Nachtzeit befüllt wurden und auch die Anlieferung mit weiter Getränken zur Bar und den Getränkehandel des Hotels war sehr laut und zu jeder Tageszeit."
