„We loved the house and grounds. On the water. Beautiful view of the sunrise out our bedroom window. Innkeepers are world travelers and have many stories to share. We’ll have to go back to hear some more. 10-15 minute drive from SMCM. Wonderful alternative to the Fairfield, Home2 and Comfort Inn.“

„A lovely historic inn which sits on the beautiful point of Tilghman Island, Maryland. The innkeepers are friendly yet provide the feeling of privacy for couples trying to get away from it all. Breakfast was excellent with many things coming from their extensive garden, including the eggs from their own chickens. We extended our stay an extra day because we didn't want to leave.“

I called day before arrival and was told they could not honor the res due to the death of the owner May 22. I made the res May 25. „What a wonderful stay we had! The house was so comfortable with plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy each other's company. We enjoyed the brisk mornings on the porch and the gorgeous sunsets in the evenings. Very comfortable beds and linens. The scenery and landscape in the area are breathtaking. Every turn provided another incredible view of the water. Fishing Creek is close to so many beautiful, quaint towns along the Chesapeake Bay. Highly recommend!“

„We had a lovely time on this trip. The house is spacious and the yard/location is great. The kitchen needed a few more things that we could have used but overall we would definitely return. There are no stores nearby so buy everything you need before arriving. You will not regret coming to this house. We made a lot of memories and enjoyed every minute. The host was very attentive and helpful.“
