„Great place! Definitely plan on returning. Beds were comfortable, theres a fridge, sink, keurig, Dish tv plus streaming services if you have your own sign in. My room had a view of the water which I loved. Limited parking but wasn't a problem for me since it was off-season. Easy to get to, close to Downtown, AC Store, and gas station nearby. Very friendly staff. 10/10.“

„This home on Japonski Island is a short walk into Sitka. It was amazing! Along with the constant views of beautiful Alaska out the walls of windows, this home is sparkly clean. Amenities are organized and plentiful. We were so comfortable that it was hard to leave! The owner was easy to contact and helpful. This property will not disappoint. „We had a fabulous time in Sitka. We fished for 2 days and explored for 1 day, however another day would have been nice. The vacation rental was perfect for our party. Each person had their own bed, the kitchen had everything one might need. The location was perfect. The boat picked us up right outside our door and it was a walkable distance to the center of town. What a fabulous visit we had!“

„My family and I enjoyed a lovely 5 day stay visiting the sites of Sitka. The Hughes house was a highlight … mornings watching the ocean out the kitchen window and eagles flying by was special. „I was in Sitka, with 2 of my sisters, to do all things Alaska Days and Indigenous Peoples Day! The great location allowed us to get to the festivities on foot. And the spaciousness gave us plenty of room to don our gowns for the Alaska Day Ball. The house was very clean and well appointed. Much appreciated!“

„Fantastic location right in the heart of Sitka. A little hard to find but just off a main street. Unit is good but needs a little TLC - chairs in dining room really beat up and one chair is missing. Pillows should be replaced as well as faucet in the kitchen. There is no dishwasher - the owner should put one it. Laundry is not in the unit but just next door. It's coin operated and there is only one washer and dryer for 4 units. Management company was great and responsive. “
