„Food and service excellent, unfortunately the room smelt of damp really badly, the chimes from the church every 30 minutes kept me awake most of the night until I stuffed tissue in my ears, loud noise from cars passing on road, springy bed. Probably the worst nights sleep ever!“

„Pros: Great location if you’re visiting / doing business in Ampthill. Great food and drinks downstairs. The staff were always friendly, helpful and welcoming. Cons: no on premise parking. Closest parking is a municipal lot…10 pounds for 24 hours. When I checked in my room was made up as 2 singles instead of a double as requested. Beds were a tad small & uncomfortable. „It’s maintained to an excellent standard . Tucked away off a busy road but with ample and excellent car parking facilities . Had a couple of meals during our stay which were excellent value served by friendly staff and set next to the local river.. perfect ! Well worth giving it a try . “

„The staff were nice and friendly The room was nice, with kettle and tea and coffe supplies Kettle was a bit faulty, wouldnt stay on to boil, I had to hold the button down until it boiled There was a little balcony, however it was locked off, which is fine because i didnt pay for a balcony room.
