„ A lot of hard work went into the remodel of this house. Loved everything, especially the garage that is off the kitchen. It's close to all the cool river parks and has a complete kitchen. I tried to check 5 stars across the board, but the form didn't work.“

„The owners of the property had great communication. This place was warm & cozy. The location is the best you can get in Manitowish. We could walk to the park, restaurants, get coffee, etc. we have a large pontoon and they had a great pier and access that made things easy. Our family loved it and would recommend this place to anyone. “

„Wonderful house, constantly improving The Host knows his town and gave Great recommendations for where to go and where to eat. We went from Hurley up to the shores of Lake Superior rock hunting, and also went to Copper Peak Ski Jump. What a wonderful view and the guides were courteous and very knowledgeable. The Second Day we went to Copper Harbor for lunch and went on top of Brockway Mountain and could see for miles. This is a wonderful house within reach of the western UP attractions“

„We booked this property in very short notice and afraid about the accuracy. But when we reached there, we were happy that we picked an excellent one. Host was reachable all the times and property had been located vert close to lot of scenic places and especially Copper peak site. We love to visit this place and stay in this property again during fall. “

„Wendy and Marty know how to host! The usual things one anticipates for rentals were all there but it was the extras that really blew us away. Well stocked kitchen including a crock pot, a Milwaukee Tool radio for our use, and unlimited fire wood are just a few of those extras. It felt like home. Wendy was very responsive and thorough which I appreciated! We booked again for next year which is the highest review I can think of! “

„As far as cleanliness, the property was basically clean. Some stains on carpet and we had to empty the dishwasher from the previous guest. I rated the check-in a "3" because they gave us a code for the keyless entry. Unfortunately, there is something mechanically wrong with the front door lock system and we couldnt get in. Walked around to back and the door was unlocked so that is how we got onto our rental. From there, we had to call the 800 number to tell them the keyless entry lock didn't ...

„W the welcoming calls of loons from crystal clear Grand Portage Lake. What a wonderful stay! The cottage was beautifully appointed. The ample outside spaces provided postcard views. Located close to grocery, downtown restaurants and the Heart of Vilas bike trail head, we could not have enjoyed our stay more and look forward to our visiting again soon.“

„Overall I would say we had a wonderful week long stay at this home. It’s a beautiful, well maintained property on a very nice lake lot. The lake was quiet and the dock was perfect for enjoying the views. The house is well stocked with every kitchen item you could possibly need for cooking in. There were plenty of towels for all of our guests and then some. The beds are comfortable as well. „We had such a wonderful couple days of peaceful serenity while staying at the Hannu Haus. There were do many special touches to the decor that added to the warmth & coziness of the log cabin. It had plenty of space to entertain and well thought out ideas for keeping children occupied. The coffee bar was exceptionally awesome and we all enjoyed the great coffee beverages that the Jura made!! I would give the Hannu -Hause 10 stars!! We hope to come back again!!“
