Charming Schoolhouse with Hot Tub & Pool

Welcome to the Schoolhouse Getaway!

Looking for a unique way to experience Sandusky? This home has everything you'll need for an awesome getaway...4 BR's with extra sleeping in basement common space, wood burning fireplace, pool, hot tub, large koi pond, and more. Soak in the history of the one-room schoolhouse while enjoying the park-like setting in the backyard. Close to all Sandusky has to offer (Cedar Point, Sports Force, Kalahari, Great Wolf Lodge, Lake Erie, etc.)
The space
This home has plenty of room for all of your guests, boasting 4 bedrooms, an additional sleeping space, and 3.5 baths.

Upstairs you'll find the master bedroom with 1 king bed, as well as a second bedroom with 1 queen bed and an attached half bathroom. These rooms have darkening shades, closets, universal cell phone chargers and microfiber sheets on the beds.

The main floor features two living spaces, one with a grand 24-ft. stone wood-burning fireplace and access to the front and backyards. Guests can utilize the eat-in kitchen supplied with updated appliances, basic utensils, pots and pans, and dishes for 16 people. The dining room and adjacent living space allow room to spread out for meals. In addition, you'll find a small third bedroom with a triple twin bunkbed and built-in storage nestled between the living spaces. The main floor also features two full bathrooms, one with a stand-up shower and one with a clawfoot tub.

The lower floor provides extra space for sleeping and hanging out. This space includes a nice fourth bedroom with a double-size Murphy bed and a full bathroom with stand-up shower across the hall. The common space has a twin bunkbed and futon for sleeping, as well as a TV and small refrigerator. The bedroom egress window and walk-out door from common space are good safety features. The lower floor is perfect for older children or extra guests!

The outside entertaining area in the back features a pool with a slide, a hot tub and a large, stocked koi pond. There is ample space to gather for meals outside or to simply relax by the water. A grill is located just out the back door.

Hot Tub is open year-round.
The pool is not heated, but we do keep a solar cover on the pool! Pool open memorial day to labor day.
