Wedding weekend
Wedding weekend for our son and daughter in law. Family stayed in the Cottage and Grooms party in the Cabin. We were able to have the rehearsal dinner in the Outpost too. Everyone loved the property and spent time in the pond and the pavilion. Marie was so helpful and responsive to any questions I had.

Wonderful Family Reunion
The house and property was perfect for our three grown kids and spouses and 6 grandchildren. We enjoyed fishing in the pond, pony rides and lots of outdoor area for games and running around. The kitchen was well stocked, the air conditioning was great and the WiFi worked great. Communication with host was excellent. This was our second stay and we plan another trip here in 2026.

Wonderful stay! Perfect activities for all ages. Our only issue was there was no wifi. We think the modem wasn’t working. Good thing was, we really didn’t need it.

It was ok. Nice house. Could have been a little cleaner. Horrible walk to the creek. Should make more accessible. Pond very algae, murky. Boats ok. Fishing ok. Petting zoo ok. Horseback ride good.

Great Property. Poor Management
The property was a good fit for our needs. We had 6 adults for most of the week & hosted our son’s fiancé & 4 bridesmaids the night before the wedding. The kitchen was perfect for getting ready with the 2 tables & plenty of natural light. The bedrooms were decent sizes. The only issue we had was the pull out couch wasn’t suitable for guests. Bathrooms were tricky with only one shower on main floor. Upstairs has a Jack-n-Jill with 1 shower & 1 commode then 2 separate sink areas for each bedroom. All of the showers had great water pressure & plenty of hot water. The only drawback logistically for us was there were a lot of stairs going up to the property. Given we were there for our son’s wedding we had a lot more to carry in & out than a normal vacation. Overall the house fit our needs very well. There was a lack of communication & missed appointments from the owners. We had travelled 3 1/2 hrs to meet with the owner to view the Outpost to rent for the rehearsal dinner. We showed up & she was not there & no one had any idea we were coming. We were sent to view the space alone & it was not clean. We never received a call after & had to find a new location w/just a couple of weeks before wedding. We arrived at 7pm & the house was not ready. There were many minor maintenance/up keep/cleanliness issues all week. We didn’t bother trying to even get ahold of the owners bc of the inability to reach them prior & upon arrival. I would rent house again if owners resolved these issues.

We had a fun time together as a family at this property. It was clean, comfortable and there was good communication with the owner . We enjoyed having access to the lake. Great memories were made here and our grandchildren liked the petting zoo too.

Great getaway close to town!
This property is beautiful! I stayed here with my fiancé and bridal party (both bridesmaids and groomsmen) for a weekend so the bridal party could get to know each other. This was the perfect place to do so! We were able to play games outside, go to the lake, fish, go horseback riding, pet the animals at the petting zoo, and also easily go to both Brownsburg and Indianapolis to go out to eat, go bowling, etc. The owners were very responsive and answered all our questions. I highly recommend this property and hope to come back!

Perfect Peaceful Family Getaway
Perfect location - not to far from Indianapolis, yet quiet and peaceful. Love the patio and the kids loved the animals. Having two tables in the kitchen area was so nice. There was seating for everyone in one space so you did not feel disconnected. Bedrooms are slightly set off from the gathering spaces which is really nice. Will definitely stay here again!

Great, unique place!
What a delight this property is! The owners are super friendly, easy going and responded quickly to any questions. The home is charming and comfortable and that porch ❤️❤️❤️ We had a blast walking around the property, seeing the animals, kids enjoyed the paddle boat, canoe and even jumped off the dock to swim! My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer.

Weekend Fun
The place is absolutely adorable and more than accommodating for a family getaway or friends that live in different parts of the country to get together & have a fun weekend. It’s not far from downtown and other areas around the Indianapolis area. The hosts are nice, accommodating people. I would definitely stay again.

Great Place for Large Groups
This is the 3rd year that we have stayed here! Close to the convention center and all things Indy. We love being able to cook meals and play games together as a group. Plenty of space outside for the kids to run around.

What a lovely comfortable home! We often have trouble finding places big enough, this home was perfect. Communication was easy and quick, the house was spotless, and the kitchen was amazing! Our only regret was that we did not have time to visit the petting zoo.

Abundant Outdoor Space
The Cottage had plenty of indoor and outdoor space for our group of seven. Grandchildren and adults alike enjoyed the farm aspect of this property. We appreciated the TP, paper towels, fans in bedrooms, plenty of towels, and large refrigerator. The proximity to Brownsburg and the Indy area was ideal. I must also add that the weekend that we were there, we all felt that the house needed a deep-cleaning. I understand that the owners do some of this in the winter when they are not renting their place, but the guests at the end of the season should experience the same cleanliness as the guests at the beginning of the season.

Indy Family Vacation
Our trip to Brownsburg/Indy was amazing! The house was large enough to accommodate our whole family! The house was clean and had everything we needed! It was well stocked with kitchen items! The farm, trail ride, fishing at the pond, and huge yard to play was amazing and the owners were very polite and kind to us! The house is a short ways away from the amazing children’s museum, Indianapolis zoo, and lots of cooks parks and restaurants! We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend our stay here! Owners rude and property not well maintained
Was looking for house for bridal party to stay in for weekend and to get ready with hair and make up artist for Saturday for wedding at nearby venue so I needed it to be big enough for bridal party to get ready and pretty enough photographer to take pictures Listing states no events or parties or outside guest so before booking we explained what we were looking for and what listing states and if they would be ok with extras on Saturday morning early afternoon for bridal party to get ready. They was very agreeable and stated it would be no problem. I pay the money like ten months prior then when the day came I received nasty messages on the wedding day asking what was going on it looked to be more than 16 people at the house etc. these messages went on back and forth with me trying to remind them of our agreement prior to my booking until I finally just quit responding. The pictures show beautiful cottage with well groomed yard and well let’s just say it was only too surface clean. And grass was not mowed and bushes not kept up. It was not a place we could take any pictures. Many broken items in house. Door knobs that fall off when touching. Ceiling that had been taped and painted that was sagging like it could fall in anytime and one of the four double beds in house that claims to sleep 16 had broken supports. Was very disappointed with home and property but most of all the owner continuously texting me and upsetting me in my daughters wedding day

Loved the farmhouse. Owners very quick to respond. Plenty of space for our family meet-up vacation. Love the location...country atmosphere with businesses within 5 miles if you need anything. Kids loved the animals and had fun with the paddle boat, canoe and boat. Kitchen is nice and plenty of eating space. House was conveniently laid out for our 4 families plus one.
