„We loved our stay at Zelda! The location was perfect for navigating around downtown Asheville. We were within a 5-15 minute walk anywhere we wanted to go. „We had the unfortunate honor of being 6th floor guests of the hotel when the elevator lost service. We only stayed overnight (in town for Bonnie Raitt) so our trek up and down the stairs six or seven times was inconvenient but not a deal breaker. The staff was apologetic and very helpful in trying to make the best of an inconvenient situation. We would stay there again - really like the accommodations, convenience, walk ability of the area, and downtown in general. “

„Easy acces to and from the Blue Ridge Parkway. I like walking so I didn't mind the 50 minutes walk to downtown Asheville (I avoided the tunnel). In fact it was a beautiful day and the walk hat some fantastic views of Asheville and the surrounding mountains. Papas and Beer was a good recommendation for dinner close to the hotel. The only thing I didn't like was the use of disposable plates, cutlery etc at breakfast.“

The location is excellent, just a short and pleasant walk to downtown Asheville.
