The ferry captain who took us to our final boat was skilled and provided a smooth ride. However, several aspects of the experience didn't quite meet the 5-star standard the company claims. The check-in process could use some polishing - staff weren't uniformed, and there was quite a bit of shouting among the luggage handlers. Be prepared for a rather lengthy transfer process (about an hour) before reaching your actual cruise boat, including a curious life jacket checkpoint along the way. Important tip for booking: Some rooms on the first deck might have their balcony views blocked by a support boat that remains attached throughout the journey - definitely worth checking this when selecting your room! The accommodation had some issues - slow-filling bathtub that needed cleaning before use, and even the presidential suite guests mentioned having no hot water. The WiFi was reportedly unavailable due to the remote location, though we could see other boats' networks. Dining experience could be enhanced - the food was acceptable, but the atmosphere was frequently disrupted by noisy plate clearing. The staff conducted accounting work in the breakfast area, which felt out of place for a luxury cruise. I do not recommend it."

"Beim Check In gab es ein paar Probleme, aber es wurde darauf reagiert. Ansonsten aktuell eins von 2 Hotels in Cat Ba, das nicht von Baustellen umgeben ist. Der Ausblick auf die Bucht ist genial. Theoretisch auch der Pool, aber leider hat es geregnet. "

"Die Übernachtung auf dem Schiff war super. Das Persona stets freundlich und bemüht. Der Besuch der Höhle und der Cave mit Bamboo-Fahrt hat uns sehr gefallen. Man wird mit einem „Speedboot“ (Tenderboot) auf das Hauptschiff gebracht. Die eigentliche Fahrt mit dem Schiff ist dann eher kurz, was aber vor allem auch den Ausflügen geschuldet ist. Nachts ankert man zusammen mit anderen Schiffen. Allem im allem sehr empfehlenswert. Gerne wieder!"
