„Die Lodge befindet sich etwas abseits einer Hauptstrasse im Wald und es ist sehr ruhig. Ein Auto ist von Vorteil. In der Unterkunft ist alles nötige vorhanden. Die Einrichtung ist sehr schön. Ein richtig gemütliches Holzhaus. Gerne wieder. Vielen Dank.“

„Le lieu est très cocooning, le chalet agréable donne sur une très belle vue. Les accessoires de cuisine nécessiteraient un suivi. Quid de cet appareil avec compteur branché dans la cuisine dont nous n’avons pas obtenu la fonction auprès du propriétaire. Une caméra sur la terrasse.... Le point le plus gênant est l’enclavement du lieu qui nécessite de faire déjà 30’ de voiture sur une très belle mais très petite route avant de rejoindre un grand axe.“

„Love this place! Very clean & comfortable, exceed our expectations. We're a family of 5 (11, 13 & 16 yrs old), everyone enjoyed the stay. Highly recommend it! “

„Stunning location for a relaxing holiday. Spent a week here with 2 children (ages 6 and 2) and had a great time. Safe outdoor space for the children to play in and they loved feeding the owner's chickens nearby. 5 minute walk to a pebbled beach which was ideal for tiring them out in the evening. Lots to do locally and further afield in Oban. The cabin is clean, with everything you would need for a weeks stay.“

„What a great property! Everything was so easy. It was self-check in from a key box. The owners sent mutiple emails detailing the procedures as well as one for what to do when we departed. The property was fantastic and everything we needed was there. I highly recommend this place!“

„The apartment was ok. the bathroom sink was quite small that water would spill when used, not all the appliances in the kitchen were operational (stove top and oven not working). No washing machine as advertised on expedia which was disappointing. The location of the apartment was great and central. “

"Kein Aufzug, erstes Zimmer hat komplett nach Zigaretten Rauch gestunken - bekamen dann ein Upgrade. Leider kein Frühstück oder Abendessen, da ein Gasleck vermutet wurde. In der Gegend ist es dann nicht so leicht ein Restaurant ohne Reservierung zu finden. Frühstück wurde zurück erstattet. Personal war freundlich. "

Very warm hospitality

"I recently had the pleasure of staying at Corran Bunkhouse in Fort William, Scotland, and I can't recommend it highly enough. Alan, the host, was incredibly welcoming and made our stay exceptionally memorable. From the moment we arrived, his warm hospitality set the tone for a fantastic visit. The surroundings of the bunkhouse are simply breathtaking, offering a serene and picturesque retreat that perfectly complements the natural beauty of the area. One of my favorite features was the shared living room, which was wonderfully cozy and furnished with an abundance of comfortable couches. It was the perfect spot to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. A special mention must be made of Alan's thoughtfulness. I accidentally left my EarPods behind, and Alan went out of his way to send them back to Germany without asking for any compensation. His kindness truly went above and beyond, reflecting his genuine care for his guests. If you're looking for a comfortable, welcoming, and beautifully situated place to stay in Fort William, Corran Bunkhouse is the place to be. Thank you, Alan, for making our stay so special!"

"Unterkunft entspricht keinesfalls der Beschreibung und den Bildern auf der Website. Das Komfort-Doppelzimmer ist sehr klein und das Badezimmer sehr in die Jahre gekommen und eng. Die Lage des Hotels ist ausgezeichnet und die Aussicht top. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt absolut nicht. Wir waren vor allem deshalb enttäuscht."
