Conveniently located 10 miles from Jasper and 45 miles from Birmingham. The home was completely remodeled in 2022 and provides 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Enjoy watching the sunset from the covered porch while cooking up your fresh catch on the blackstone grill!

Great Location! Easy short stay getaway for us!
The home is very clean. It was very comfortable for our weekend getaway. The location on the lake as well as the location from town is great! The property has a wonderful porch with Blackstone griddle. The dock fit our 24 Foot boat with ease. Awesome place to stay!! We will rent there again!

Cute & Great Location, but Small!
We enjoyed our small getaway here at Smith lake. The doc was great, the area is quiet. We loved the fire pit and outdoor entertainment area. The only thing I will warn is that the bunk room bathroom is the hallway into the room itself. So if you are in the room and someone is in the bathroom, you can’t leave until they are done. Also, the bunk room is SMALL. The beds themselves were roomy and nice, but they take up the entire space. It wasn’t much of a bother though because we were close family. It was cute and a fun experience! Bring blankets as we wished we had more for the couch and outdoor use. Overall, we would book again!

The change of scenery we needed
Fantastic place for family to get away. Great weather, shaded patio and outdoor TV means we didn't spend any time inside. We fished day and night, with supplied fishing night light. The water was low so our 6 year old had a blast exploring the exposed rocks. Place is well stocked with spice, condiments, etc. so if you forget something, it's probably there. Plenty of firewood for fire pit and full tank of propane for the Blackstone. May want to bring a sound machine or use a phone app to drown out the random acorns falling on to the tin roof. I highly recommend this property if you want to spend time outside, comfortably.

We enjoyed our stay on this property very much! The house is just as described and comes furnished with all you need! We loved that it is close to Duncan Bridge Marina for easy launching of our boat! We hope to return for a fall getaway!

The house was beautiful and decor was well thought out. I love the large porch that covers the front and side of the house and the fire pit out front. We enjoyed the boat dock and swim platform. I would love for my husband and to come back in the fall for a short relaxing get away.

The Best Vacation In Years
This was by far the best vacation we have been on in years. It was all because of this place. The view from inside the cabin was beautiful. The view from the deck was even better. Cooking all of our meals either inside or outside on the black stone was a treat because everywhere you looked you had a beautiful view. Nights by the campfire making s’mores will be a core memory for my children and me. The place was very clean and I felt right at home. We wanted to rent a boat to spend time on the lake and the owner knew exactly who to contact and the process was smooth. I definitely hope we can visit again soon.

Perfect relaxation vacation!
We thoroughly enjoyed Rockview Escape! The remodeled home was beautiful and clean. The view from the porch was amazing. The lake is only a few steps away from the back door, s’mores every night at the fire pit, dinner and breakfast on the back porch, grilled on the blackstone, communication with the owner was easy and quick. Neighbors were kind and quiet. Loved that there was a bathtub for our little girls but also shower for the rest of us. The girls really enjoyed swimming at the dock. Such a wonderful trip, with a great place to stay! This lake was our favorite, as well as, this home.

Fantastic Stay on Smith Lake!!
This property is perfect for a stay on this lake. The owners have remodeled the house nicely and have created just the best 2 bedroom lake house that we could imagine. Perfect view with an amazing outdoor area to relax with family or entertain friends. We would absolutely love to stay here again!

Perfect location
We have to stay fairly local due to my husband’s health issues. He’s always been an avid fisherman and has pretty much had to give it up. This rental was the perfect solution for him. He alternated between fishing and resting here. The boat lift was a valuable asset too. House was very clean. Outside area was so nice. There was even a Blackstone grill. Large windows gave us the beautiful view day and night. We got to watch an electrical storm last nigh. Bathrooms were gorgeous. We’re considering doing it again this fall. Host left sweet note with wine and s’mores. A great experience
