My main issue with this property was communication. I had zero communication up until the check in time. Ten minutes before check in, I received my first email with the key code and wifi password. After we went out to grab a bite to eat, we realized no hot water. My 86 year old dad showered in cold water. I had no way of communicating with the property manager. I tried looking at the listing for contact info but none existed. I tried responding directly to the VRBO email I received with the key code, and the property manager responded. I wouldn’t have thought an email directly from VRBO would be my only source of communication. He fixed the water issue within the hour. Next issue was finding out at 9pm that I needed a parking permit to park on the street. The listing on Expedia says parking on premises, nothing about a $5 parking permit required seven days a week. After back and forth emailing with the property manager, I found out I needed the parking permit. At that time, I had to go out and get a parking permit. Luckily they have street machines a few blocks away. Nice house, my old neighborhood so I love it, but communication was lacking. It could have been better. Check in email with instructions and check out email would have fixed my issues. Parking is difficult in the area. One night I drove around for 45 minutes before I found a spot seven blocks away to park. Finding parking is not easy and you better know how to parallel park as most spots are for small cars.
