Lovely remote country property with so much room inside and expansive areas of fields that made it so peaceful and serene.
Good parking area provided, and a lovely, slow combustion fireplace that was prepared and ready to be lit, which warmed the place up within 10 minutes.
There was fresh juice in the fridge and milk, fresh farm, eggs, fresh bread and butter, plus lovely, touches like a capsule coffee maker and condiments that you needed to cook.
Really good size and very big TV that also had Foxtel, plus there was a small fenced courtyard that we could let our dog go to the toilet in as she wasn’t able to be let off the lead because of the roaming chickens and ducks. There were some lovely resident dogs, but the owner was very understanding and only let one out side and she was a lovely retriever and ever so friendly and seem to get on with our dog while she was leashed when outside.
The big cottage also had a lovely picnic table outside with the fire pit and the salt water pool is really lovely and my dog even had a swim in it. I really feel like you have got away from everything when staying at this property but keep in mind that it is a country property so make sure you wear covered shoes or boots with the grass and wild animal and dog droppings on the grasses areas.
It’s not that far from the freeway, so nice as a stopover or when visiting the Central Coast, but that said it is completely quiet but do remember that there is a rooster.
