„The cabin stay was wonderful for the whole family ( age range 8 to 72). The cabin is full of character, history and charm with all the modern conveniences. In spite of some pretty chilly weather the family enjoyed fishing, loved the hot tub and enjoyed the outdoor fireplace. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals . „We were greeted with a dozen red roses and a cute card for us sitting on the end table in the living room for our anniversary when we walked in that really made us smile. We loved all the rooms except we felt the bed could use replacing. It was not very firm and if you barely move to turn over or literally made any movement at all, the bed squeaked real bad. We used the 2 frying pans and found that the food stuck on them very badly, so I would suggest replacing those as well. Overall though, ...

„Great place to stay. Exactly as described. The only things i can point out was the kitchen was a little sticky on the floor and cabinet drawer handles. The fact we have to take out our own trash it a little weird since we pay for cleaning. And we were in a truck and needed to back into the actual driveway bc the turn was very sharp.But over all i highly recommend. “

„We stayed at the A-frame cabin. The cabin interiour ist quite nice and well equipped, however you should be aware it is very tiny. The bathroom/outhouse is approx. 30m away and equipped quite rudimentary. Activities require some driving. In extended periods of rain that should be considered. The place ist still developping (new Houses being built) and could develop nicely. Staff was friendly and helpful.“

„Absolutely beautiful home. Gas Fireplace inside and out was perfect. Grill was good! Could use some new cooking pans, but the place was absolutely wonderful. No cell service but had good internet so that wasn't a problem at all. We will definitely rent this in the future. Host was extremely responsive to any questions and provided sound answers and solutions. Thank you for a wonderful memory and weekend! “

„This is a pretty cabin in a very rural setting near the Watauga river. It has a lot of windows and we enjoyed watching the cows across the street, and we also saw baby lambs. The long mountain views are awesome - we saw them covered in snow!The inside of the cabin is nice and new; although minimally decorated.
