Enjoy memories of gangsters, prohibition, entertainers, sports legends and architecture as you explore our speakeasy with its tin ceiling, the kitchen displaying 1920's decor, shadows of jazz entertainers reflected in the living room, and 3 bedrooms with en suite baths sporting memories of Ruth, Gehrig, and the cars, styles, and flappers of the time. Located in a quiet neighborhood in the heart of great shopping, restaurants, and entertainment, you can rest up or use the private work spaces in each suite. Minutes from Binghamton University; The Vestal Parkway and Wilson, Lourdes, and Binghamton General hospitals.
The space
This 3-bedroom/ 3-bath home has a full kitchen with stackable washer/ dryer, dining space in our "speakeasy," a living room (with optional folding dining table), and a backyard with picnic table and BBQ. Each suite also has its own kitchenette with 10 cu. ft fridge, microwave, and coffee maker, as well as its own private bathroom. All bedrooms, as well as the living room, have their own TVs where you can enter your own personal info and stream your favorite movies. Handicap accessibility includes parking, wheelchair lift, private suite with accessible ADA bathroom, and accommodations made in the kitchen and speakeasy for counter height space underneath.
Guest access
The back yard has seating, a BBQ, and a cement patio for smooth access to the wheelchair lift (please notify us ahead if this will be needed so can coordinate for instructions). The driveway is able to fit 2-3 cars, one in front of the other. There is free parking on the same side of the street as the house.
Other things to note
The limit according to the local code department on this house is six people, due to the main-floor accessible bedroom and bath in lieu of common space area.
