Check-in Woes
We traveled to Antigua at end of July and while the property itself is nice, we had check-in issues. We brought the check-in issue to the attention of the owner, who took absolutely zero accountability, no apologies and blamed us. When we booked the property in December 2023, we were sent a checkin email. However, we were also advised that 3 days prior to our trip, we would get our specific checkin details (which we did). Most people would think this last email trumps all previous so we followed it. It had a contact person to call upon our arrival and said to call him from the airport so that he can meet us at the property with the keys. We arrived around 3 pm and kept calling with no answer. We found a place to eat while we waited to make contact but no one ever answered. Hours later that evening, we did finally get into the property after getting a message from someone different, at a different property management company.The issue was that the contact info sent in the email we were sent was incorrect. An acknowledgement of the error and apology from the owner would have been nice but instead, he completely ignored the last email sent with incorrect info and kept going back to the email sent months ago in December 2023 and said had we followed that, we would have had no issues. We found that unacceptable as why would we not follow the details in the last email email sent.
