„The window was open, When we arrived and it was almlost freezing outside. No real check in on site and no staff available. Heater took wry long to hear up the room. Otherwise there is not really anything at this place besides sleeping.“

„We were pleasantly surprised by the lodge! It was such a lovely experience. There is a kitchen available for guests to use so we made hot chocolate and coffee they provided. There is a common living room with games, a communal TV and a pool table. It’s like a cross between a vacation rental, a grown up hostel and a hotel. We loved our stay!“

„Comfortable quiet place “

„This was our first vacation with our pets and the little castle was perfect. The backyard is completely gated and has animal proof cement with a green area for restroom. The tile flooring inside was warm and sturdy enough so we didn’t have to worry about the dogs scratching it. There were pet supplies like bowl, toy and treat left for us. All the human supplies were great too “

„It was a very nice and relaxing stay. The location was peaceful and relatively easy to get to from San Diego. The house was very clean, open space, and the living room was cozy with a nice wood burning fireplace. The kitchen was nice and big, great for hanging out during family dinner prep. The outdoor space was peaceful. I would recommend staying here to others that would like a nice getaway from the city.“

„As the description suggests, this is a tiny little house. Kitchen is good for pre-made food brought in to store and eat. Bed is comfy and the place had everything we needed for a couple of nights in Julian.“
