Beautiful Kailua Hale 1 Bedroom

Classic Hawaiian architecture on a beautifully landscaped property. You have free on-site parking and easy access to our outdoor shower. Our spacious 1-bedroom unit is a permitted short term rental which means you can stay for a few nights or as many nights as you would like. Our accommodation has all the modern day comfort features such as air conditioner, walk-in closet, hair dryer, iron and board, washer/dryer, fully equipped full-size kitchen with Keurig coffee, toaster, stove, microwave, and all the essentials to cook and eat your meal. Super comfortable memory foam king size bed, indoor and outdoor dining area and if you need to bring your work, we have a coffee table lift desk with super fast WiFi and CAT 5 network cable. We have a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room. Super comfortable, extremely clean and modern with everything you need for a wonderful stay. You have free use of our beach cruiser bicycles, beach towels, beach tote, coolers. We worked hard to think of all the details so you have a super comfortable and wonderful stay.

We are centrally located in the heart of Kailua. Kailua is best known for having the best beach in the world as well as a charming Kailua town. We are walking distance to Kailua Beach, Kailua Town, boutique shops, cafes, restaurants, bars, breweries. Kailua is a bike friendly town. Many major attractions are within 45-minute drive.

Amazing Location - Superb Hosts!
The location of this home cannot be beat if you are looking for a local low-key vibe, walking distance to the beach and the best shops/restaurants etc. The unit is clean, A/C is powerful (we stayed in August and it was quite warm). Our boys were extremely comfortable in the living room which has its own pull-out sofa and smart-tv. The master bedroom is very spacious with a large walk-in closet. Our favorite was the outdoor shower under the fragrance of a plumeria tree in the afternoons facing the warm sun after spending our days at the beach. Hosts provided beach gear (umbrellas, chairs, coolers and plenty of boogie boards). We are already looking at booking again next year! Mahalo!!

Cute unit in a great location
The unit that we stayed in was extremely clean and well maintained. The location cannot be beat–15 minute walk to Kailua Beach with a young child and only 5 minutes to Kailua town. My family and I loved staying at this central location, and being able to walk to all of the great restaurant recommendations. The beach toys, chairs, and mats were a great amenity, as was the outdoor shower to minimize sand in the unit. The owners were extremely responsive and were able to help us quickly with all of our requests. The only downside is that all of the walls are partial walls (including the bedroom and bathroom), so this unit might not be ideal for families with young children if you have very different bedtimes. Nevertheless, we would definitely stay here again!

Close to town
Unit is a short, about 5 minutes, walk to town and close to many great restaurants and shops. Walk to beach is about 10-15 minutes, but the beach cruisers make a quick ride to the beach in under 5 minutes or to Island Snow, a great place to get shave ice! Kailua Beach is beautiful and our favorite beach on Oahu. Use of laundry facilities and beach gear are a nice perk that made the stay very comfortable.

Awesome Accommodations and Overall Experience
My adult family of 5 had a wonderful stay and overall awesome experience in 2 of Tobi's apartments. Communication was prompt and responsive from day one until departure time. The units were clean, comfortable, updated, and conveniently located in the town of Kailua. The bonuses such as; use of bikes, extra towels, outdoor shower, big screen tv's, air conditioning were certainly appreciated. Tobi and his wife went above and beyond accommodating a few special requests. Highly recommended and plan to return as soon as able.

I'll preface this by noting that our stay was between Christmas and New Year, and the prices for staying anywhere in Oahu (especially outside of Honolulu/Waikiki) were extremely high. Being our only visit to the island, I have no point of reference to assess the value vs. money. That said, the unit is functional and comfortable, the location is excellent, everything is exactly as described, and communication with the owners was great

Our stay has been magical. Due to flight delays we were late to arrive. The owner Tobi was very helpful having the unit ready and open for our arrival. He also recommended some local restaurants for two hungry and tired travelers to eat some yummy food. The unit was perfect for the two of us. The location is amazing. A quick 1/2 mile bike ride (furnished by owners) into town one way and a mile bike ride to Kailua beach the other way. Tobi and his wife also provided beach towels, chairs, umbrella and a beach cooler too. There was access to laundry so we were able to come home with clean clothes! There are three total units on the property and we plan to return with additional family next time!

Great location and Hale
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Kailua Hale. The Hale had everything we needed and was spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect to town and not too far to our favorite and most beautiful beach. Tobi and Yvonne were perfect hosts, very knowledgeable and friendly, made our stay most enjoyable and memorable. My only concern is that when the word gets out that its such a great place to stay, it will be more difficult to get a reservation in the future.

We used the 4 beach cruisers everyday. We also used the beach chairs, umbrella, cooler for beach days. Tobey is a great host making sure we are comfortable. Location is next to the busy Kailua Rd so you can hear the cars from inside. I wore earplugs at night so I slept fine.

Easy to find and walking distance to town. I didn't go to the beach. Full sized fridge and plenty of cooking items if you are staying long term. Shower was great. Bed was comfy. Loved the little back yard to read for a bit outdoors at night. Quiet neighborhood. My only criticism would be the design. The walls between the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and living area don't go all the way to the ceiling. That means that the small room air conditioner in the bedroom is trying valiently to cool down the entire home and cannot be successful. Didn't help to have the fan in the bedroom and the living room going and it was pretty warm inside when I was there. This likely isn't an issue outside the summertime. Still loved it. Thanks!

Wonderful stay, delightful hosts
Tobi greeted us for check in and provided all the key details. We got oriented and we’re able to settle in easily plus learn about local activities, restaurants, etc. we really enjoyed the unit. It is comfortable and well equipped. I particularly appreciated the big laminated map of the island! In one place I could see where everything is, and it helped plan some of our excursions. When we headed out locally we made great use of the bikes with the baskets. And the microfiber beach towels were amazing! I’m so glad Tobi mentioned them, cuz I’ve used one and I might have thought it was something for inside only. They are super compact, comfortable, and great for the beach. We took in at least one beach sunrise and met many a delightful dog. The hosts were fantastic! We got to meet their dogs and chat a few times. It was great to get to know them and see all the care they put into the property. It was planting season so it was a joy to see the new plants be selected and planted. I especially appreciate the flexibility they showed. And there recommendation for a massage at Nori Kohana was perfect— just perfect and a great price too. We would stay here again. We made. The most of the downtown, variety of grocery stores, and restaurants. And we were able to take in so many sites like the Valley of the Temples and so much much.

This was the perfect place to stay on our visit to Kailua. The unit was nice and clean, easy to find, super convenient between downtown and the beach with convenient parking, and amenities like beach chairs, cooler, beach umbrella and even cruiser bikes.
