Stunning location
We couldn't have asked for a better location. Property is located immediately adjacent to the shore with waves crashing on lava, a small sand beach nearby and a short walk to restaurants and shopping. Incredible property. Beautiful view. Excellent Hosts.
What can we say other than this was one of our best getaways. From the very beginning our hosts were excellent to work with. The unit is in great shape and the view spectacular. Our hosts reached out to us when we were there and helped with ideas for things to do and sights to see. We were exceptionally lucky in that the Volcano erupted and we were able to do a fly over. The unit itself is beautifully finished and in great shape. Everything we needed to cook or bbq was there. The view from the lanai was amazing and we enjoyed appys and drinks every evening watching the sun go down. The grounds and pool area are well maintained. The bbq area was a great place to cook and meet other guests not to mention well equipped with 4 large bbq’s. All and all it was definitely one of our better getaways and we will hopefully be returning again next season. Thank you again to our hosts for the opportunity to rent their amazing property and for all the little perks that made this trip so special.

Kona Getaway
The property is accurately described on VRBO. The photos of the view do not do it justice. The condo is waterfront and you could throw a stone and hit the ocean. You have an uninterrupted view of the sunsets every night. When needed the A/C worked flawlessly. The kitchen is well equipped and the bed is comfortable. We picked this condo because of its location. It is off Allii drive so there is very little traffic noise. It is also easy walking distance to downtown .The owners, Brian and Michelle we very attentive and great to deal with. I would highly recommend their condo to any couple wanting to stay in Kona. Mahalo!

Clean, comfortable, convenient, perfect!
A week here was just what the doctor ordered. The condo is very well stocked with everything you need - and has been upgraded. All of the amenities are nice and modern. Easy walk to restaurants, the farmer’s market and shops. Free parking, and a beautiful ocean front view and I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else on island. It was the perfect stay.

25th Anniversary
The condo was AMAZING! There was every amenity you can think of (besides your usuals)… beach chairs, umbrella, two size coolers to use plus other items for the water). Very clean not to mention…the view was priceless! We had our coffee on the lanai watching the local surfers plus a couple of cruise ships that docked. Location was great and within walking distance of restaurants and shops! Rita was amazing to work with and SUPER hospitable. If you want quiet and relaxation… thus is your place! Gorgeous sunsets from lanai!
My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Kona Reef D17. The views from the balcony were amazing. Great for morning coffee and evening cocktails! We watched surfers, dolphins, and turtles. The sunsets never disappointed! Michele was wonderful answering questions and giving advice on area dining and activities. Easy walk into Kona for dinner or shopping. Highly recommend this condo!

Anniversary Retreat
We had the absolute nicest time and feel this condo was in the perfect spot for what we wanted. We LOVED the lanai and watching the waves. We spent SO much time out there. Awesome ocean front condo!
This is a beautiful upgraded condo with a lanai that overlooks the breaking surf. You'll be tempted to spend all day on the lanai watching the surf and listening to the ocean, but there is so much to do in and around Kona. You will love staying here. This condo also includes everything you'll need to go to the beach: beach chairs, beach umbrella, ice chest, boogie boards, snorkel masks and fins, and even binoculars.

A wonderful condo!
This is a very well equipped unit with a fantastic ocean-front location, just a short walk to On the Rocks for Happy Hour. The AC unit is extremely quiet and efficient. As many have noted, the bed may be a bit high but is a King and very comfortable. Most importantly, Michele and Brian were really helpful and accomodatimg when we needed to change our check-in time to match our check out of another unit at the Kona Reef. They also delivered a second pool key within a couple of hours. You will be very happy booking this unit.

Beautiful condo. Great location!
My wife and I have rented many beachfront condos, and this is a bit different than most because it is wider and more spacious. It is not overly cluttered either, making it much easier to live in for a week. Great location, within walking distance of many restaurants and activity in downtown Kailua.
