Experience the ultimate tropical vacation by staying at this Big Island Beach House, a luxurious oceanfront property located in the western condo community of Hale Kai O'Kona. This stunning vacation home is managed by Gather, the premier property management company in Hawaii. With Gather's expertise, you can rest assured that your every need will be taken care of during your stay.

Enjoy breathtaking views of the ocean and ample space to relax and unwind with family and friends. This two-leveled four Bed, three Bath stand-alone end unit residence is distinctly designed with a clean and contemporary aesthetic, including various polished wooden furnishings and native Hawaiian art pieces throughout the home. While the entire home is air-conditioned, there are also ceiling fans throughout the space for additional airflow.

Downstairs, you’ll find the expansive living room with an L-couch and large television, ceiling fans, mirrored back wall for added spaciousness, access to the dining area with a table for six, as well as access to the kitchen and the back lanai. From the living room, step out onto the back-covered lanai, equipped with seating and ceiling fans, overlooking a sweeping panoramic view of the majestic waves of the Pacific Ocean, with direct access to the beach. The kitchen comes with an array of modern stainless steel appliances, as well as a counter bar with two stools, and a hanging wine glass rack. Just past the kitchen is the laundry room with an in-unit washer and dryer. Also on the first floor is a guest bedroom, which comes with a King bed and a private ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower.

Upstairs are the three remaining bedrooms. The magnificent Primary bedroom is furnished with a King bed, smart television set, seating arrangements, private entrance hall, private ensuite bathroom with dual vanities and a walk-in shower, and a private covered lanai with lounge chairs to gaze out at the terrific coastline from early morning light to the colorful Hawaiian sunset. The two additional guest bedrooms each come equipped with a queen bed and share access to the guest bathroom with a walk-in shower.

Hale Kai O’Kona underwent an extensive remodel in 2017 that replaced exterior sidings on all buildings, added a security gate for additional safety and protection, and installed Trex decking around the entire complex. This home is located just off Ali’i Drive with easy access to the many attractions around the Big Island such as its many incredible beaches, lush forest trails, and immersive cultural exhibits. Hale Kai O’Kona is a short 10-minute drive from downtown Kailua-Kona, where you will find a variety of amazing restaurants, shops, and entertainment for the entire family. It is a 20-minute drive to and from the Kona International Airport for easy transport. Rest, relax, and rejuvenate here at Hale Kai O’Kona, where chic modern comfort meets the unobstructed beauty of the natural Hawaiian landscape.

Beautiful Home I with gorgeous view

We loved our stay in this beautiful home with the most gorgeous setting. The home had everything our family needed to be comfortable and enjoy our stay. Any questions we had were promptly answered. The location was excellent as well. The only mild criticism I have is that beach chairs were not included in this beautiful beach home. There were 2 chairs so we had to rent 3 for our group of 5. Not a big deal though. We had a wonderful time!

We were on a family vacation with our adult children. This house was perfect for us. Nice amenties including beach towels, beach chairs, coolers, etc. Only draw back was the grill. We love grilling out, but the grill was a small electric grill.

Amazing view

The location is just a few miles from the downtown walking area with lots of shops and restaurants along the ocean. The master bedroom is huge with an amazing view and wish we had more time to hang out on the deck! Love that there were lots of beach towels and chairs etc to use. Little tricky to use the gate as it’s close to the road and you have to get out of your vehicle to enter the code to open. So nice to have a kitchen and laundry too!

Great Property for Best Family Vacation!

When it came time to choose a destination for our annual family vacation, I decided the Big Island of Hawaii would be the perfect spot. We were looking for a home that could comfortably accommodate four adult couples in large beds, and this property checked all the boxes. Having visited the Hawaiian Islands many times, I can say this house offers a fantastic coastline, a small beach nearby, and breathtaking sunset views every evening. The balcony doors allowed the soothing sound of the waves to carry into the bedrooms, creating a great atmosphere. Overall, this house exceeded our expectations! The kitchen was well-stocked, and with supermarkets close by, cooking here was nice. Communication with the management team, both before and during our stay, was seamless and responsive. We’d definitely return—there are still so many things to see and do on the Big Island!

Ideal Kona Getaway – Perfect for Ironman and Family Retreat!

We had a fantastic stay at Hale Kai O'Kona on Ali’i Drive in Kona with family and friends. The house was in a prime location, making it ideal for both relaxing and being close to all the action. My husband participated in the Ironman World Championship, and this rental could not have been more perfect. It had everything we needed, from spacious rooms to all the amenities for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed easy access to the beaches, restaurants, and the race events. Communication with the property management company was easy, and they responded quickly whenever we needed assistance. We hope to return next year for another great experience. Highly recommend this place for anyone coming to Kona, especially for Ironman!

Beauty in paradise

Our family chose this property based on location, view and its ability to house 8 people (the 4 separate bedrooms were perfect!), and it did not disappoint! Also, watching the sunset every evening was a bonus that we did not expect. Here are some highlights of the property. - 5-min drive to Magic Sands beach which was great for snorkelling and boogie boarding (or a 25-min walk if you’re up for it!) - easy access to the highway for all of our additional adventures - parking on property - easy to communicate with the property owners - full kitchen with every cooking utensil we needed - deck with table seating for 8 people (right on the ocean) All-in-all, we are looking forward to visiting again one day!

Absolutely wonderful VRBO with extraordinary wood artwork and contemporary accommodations. The home is clean, spacious, well located, and comfortable. More than expected

This property surpassed our expectations. The kitchen had everything we needed, and having the washer and dryer was awesome. We loved falling asleep to the sounds of crashing waves and walking around on the beach area in front of the house. I can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed the house!

The condo was a very good size for our family of 7 and the ocean view was phenomenal! Plenty of pots/pans for cooking. The beds were extremely comfortable too! The only suggestion is to make sure you bring/get your own toiletries and other house necessities, as there are not many supplied (the good news is there is a grocery store very close by)!

Amazing stay at the beach house!

Spectacular view from the balcony and patio. The perfect stay at the beach house that includes cleanliness, amenities and the breathtaking ocean that we can see as soon as we wake up!
