This 2nd floor unit of Kona Plaza is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath property that is very spacious & has been a guest favorite over many years. Unit#215 sleeps 6 & features a Queen Sized Bed in each bedroom, and a pull out sofa in the living room as well, Central Air Conditioning, Wifi Access, Washer/Dryer, Fully Equipped Kitchen, Elevator Access & Underground covered parking!

There is a HUGE lanai/balcony for your comfort.

This perfectly located gem has everything you need for a stay of a few days or several months. This is the type of location you actually would not have to have a car in Kona.

Inside walls between units are 12 inch thick concrete which makes this condo very quite and peaceful. This unit has everything you need for a fun stay.

Kona Plaza Condominium Complex has a great pool with lounge chairs & 2 BBQ decks with great views of the ocean/mountain.

WHAT A DEAL! LOOK AT ALL OF THESE RESTAURANTS IN WALKING DISTANCE INCLUDING: Pancho & Lefty's, Fosters Kitchen, The Fish Hopper, Huggo's and Huggo's on the Rocks, Don the Beachcomber, Kona Inn Restaurant, Mahina Pizza, Kona Canoe Club, Outback Steakhouse, Island Lava Java & MANY MORE!!

Great location! Unit was clean. Loved the spacious lanai. Bath supplies were a little on the light side. Daycare at the church with screaming children was annoying during the week if you were in the unit during daycare hours. One of the beds made loud noises every time you moved but we were able to use the other bedroom which was nice

Cockroaches in the unit
Despite being super close to all the shops and restaurants I would not stay here again. On our second day in Hawaii after being all day outside we were greeted by cockroaches in the house. After calling the support line for the rental all they did was recommend us to buy raid spray and we would be reimbursed for the product. After spraying every corner of the place we still found cockroaches the next day. After messaging the support line again all they could offer were traps for these pests. We couldn’t even cook in the building because we were so disgusted by the fact that there were so many cockroaches. After messaging and talking with the support line about how horrible this experience was and spending over a grand on our stay the only reimbursement me received was a lousy $100. DO NOT BOOK UNLESS YOU WANT TO SHARE THE SPACE WITH COCKROACHES.

Many positives for this condo: nice lanai, comfy living room, fine kitchen/dining, good location. Nice compact w/d units, which we used. Lanai was outfitted with nice chairs, day-bed. Parking is a must in Kona and great to have with this unit, in garage below, or small lot on main level. Also, a lot of beach items for customer's use: chairs, cooler, etc. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and condo was in a great location for wedding activities we were in Kona to attend. An unfortunate aspect of this unit must be mentioned, however. The mattresses are not comfortable. Mattresses need to be replaced, plain and simple.

Nicely located property
The condo is perfectly located in the main area of Kona. It’s small but nicely furnished. The patio area is nice and has a trundle bed on it. It would be nice if there was a privacy screen so you don’t feel so exposed if sleeping out there. The kitchen is fully furnished if you want to cook. I would definitely recommend renting this property because of its location to everything.

Convenient clean
Condo needs new pillows. Shower in guest bedroom doesn’t work well. Need shower bars to hold onto in main at broom. Rug in the bathroom is dangerous for older individuals. Other than the above the condo is well stocked snd the patio is lovely with all the stuff you need for the beach.

Great place to stay. Having a full kitchen with all the tools and washer/dryer was very helpful. Perfect location in walking distance of pretty much everything. The lanai was a nice place to hang out. It was warm outside without the sun and the fans were perfect to cool you off.

Location, location, location
We enjoyed staying in this condo. The beach accessories and beach toys were helpful for my family of 6. The condo is across the street from the historical palace and Kona village town center so there’s a lot of restaurants, bars and stores. Walmart, foodland, target and Longs drugs about 1-2 miles away. Costco is about 4-5 miles away. The beach is about a 5 min walk. The condo had a lot of extras we got to use during our trip. The only cons I have would be the tv. There’s only one in the entire condo and hard to share with the other family members. The screen would intermittently black out or white out. We would have to turn it off and on to reset the tv. The washer was ridiculously noisy during the spin cycle. Other than that, we truly enjoyed the condo. Thank you for having us.

Great location
Overall great place to stay with dining, entertainment and shopping steps away. Quiet complex with a nice pool with very few people using it. The lanai was fantastic. Condo could use some updating with better lighting and softer beds. Would stay here again.
