I really wanted to be leaving a more positive review. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms were well designed. The bed was also great. That said, the experience in terms of service and other details really left this missing the mark. Some of these are minor inconveniences (i.e: Our room only having one full sized towel despite having the room booked for 2 adults, a request for room location being ignored) and others were just frustrating. It was a back and forth stay - I wanted to love it and come back but the little issues continued to mount.
I asked about parking when I arrived and was told the parking garage was $28 for overnight - which is steep, but the garage is secure and that is appreciated. Upon checkout, I was charges $39. The extra money was for an "urban fee" - which is just a way to squeeze a little more profit out of things. Regardless of my personal opinion on said fee, it was never communicated to me until I reviewed my invoice. When I contacted the hotel to address my frustration over the lack of communication, I was treated very dismissively and told they couldn't do any form of refund (I had not mentioned, asked for, or expected a refund, I just wanted to voice my frustration)...I asked if I could have a manager or someone contact me, and the individual on the phone didnt acknowledge this and began to tell me to have a nice day. I had to stop them and repeat my request (it is possible they did not hear me the first time, as their phone line had a horrible c
