A two-bedroom bach, one bathroom with shower/vanity and toilet and a convenient second bathroom with toilet and vanity only (no second shower). Both bathrooms have hairdryers
We provide mattress protectors, pillows, bath mats, hand towels, tea towels and dishcloths.
Linen and duvets can be provided at $15 per head plus a $35 laundry fee or you can bring your own. Please add a message when requesting your booking as to which option is preferred.
We do not provide face cloths or beach towels.
Basic pantry items, tea and coffee are available.
Pots, pans etc , more than you need for cooking and baking.
Ample crockery and cutlery.
No Wifi. Please come with data on the phone if needed.
Gas barbeque, two outdoor tables and six outdoor chairs are available for use on either the large front or back deck.

Water is available for boat motor flushing only. Please use water sparingly as our water source is rainwater only so have a limited supply.
Bookings for peak periods are 5 days but can be 3 days for long weekends, off-peak times or by agreement.
Section is unfenced, has a road frontage and right of way on one side to back properties so not suitable for toddlers or those who might wander onto the road.
Doubtless Bay is renowned for fabulous fishing, shellfish gathering and safe water sports. Nearby beaches to explore include Tokerau Beach, Whatuwhiwhi (Perehipe Bay), Rangiputa, Puheke, Matai Beach, Karikari Beach and the Coca-Cola Lakes down Ramp Road.
Nearby is the Carrington Estate golf course, with a restaurant and winery for dining and wine tasting in spectacular settings.
The nearest supermarkets are at Coopers Beach (Four Square, 25mins) or Kaitaia (PaknSave, 30 mins). Small store two mins along the road has supplies, bait, and petrol.
Mangonui, 25 mins away, has nice cafes, restaurants, takeaways and fishing.
Ahipara, with Shipwreck Bay, is 40 mins away, a popular surfing spot at the southern end of 90 Mile Beach.
Cape Reinga is 90 mins away, well worth a day trip to this stunning spiritual site on a nice day.
This route north has several beautiful beaches to explore for something to do on other days.
Ngawha Hot Springs with its healing mineral pools, 90 mins away, is an amazing place to relax on a chillier day. Bookings are essential.
Just over an hour south is Kerikeri with shops, picture theatres and cafés nestled amongst the citrus and kiwifruit orchards. If you enjoy early history then there is plenty for you to enjoy in the surrounding areas including Waimate North and Russell.
If time is not of the essence then your trip home might include the journey down the west coast which boasts Opononi, the Waipoua Forest with its kauri trees, Dargaville, and the Matakohe Museum which has a cafe. It is now not far to join up with the road south at the foot of the Brynderwyns.
