Venturing further, the dining room unfolds like a scene from a cherished family story. A gorgeous live-edge table, with seating for eight, stands ready for meals shared with loved ones. Above, the makings of a canoe hover, a tribute to the cottage's heritage and the love of the previous owner, who crafted canoes with passion. This unfinished canoe, a symbol of his enduring legacy, inspired the name Three Paddles, honoring his dream of building a canoe for each of his children.
The dining room flows seamlessly into the living area, where comfort meets style. Here, a grand stone fireplace and a TV create a cozy focal point. A few steps lead you to the brand-new kitchen, a chef's dream with custom white quartz countertops and blue and gray accents. Down the hallway, three well-appointed bedrooms await. The first features double bunk beds, perfect for children or a small family. Two unique primary bedrooms, one with a Queen bed and the other with a King bed, each offer sliding doors to the deck, providing private escapes and stunning views.
Outside, the magic of Three Paddles continues. The expansive multi-level deck features a gazebo with a comfortable conversation set, an outdoor dining area with a large table and umbrella, and a BBQ perfect for lakeside grilling. The level lawn offers ample space for games, while a cozy firepit with Adirondack chairs invites evening gatherings under the stars. Down by the water, the dock extends a warm welcome, complete with steps for easy lake access, making it the perfect spot to enjoy Canal Lake's tranquil beauty.
