„We were looking for a place close to Dallas that would allow us to have a small place that would be kayak accessible. We found this location to be surprisingly quiet even though it has close neighbors and access to Cedar Creek Lake was easy right off the end of the property. We used our own kayaks although the host has boats available for guests. We also found a remarkable restaurant only miles from the cabin for a special anniversary dinner.“

„We needed a quick getaway close to the DFW area. This was just what we needed. We spent most of our time in the pool enjoying the peace and quite. We did do some fishing, which was really easy. The fish were swimming right around the dock. The house was clean and comfortable and the property owners made us feel welcome. The s'mores kit was an extra special touch. We will be back!“

„Cabin was absolutely gorgeous and view was amazing to the pond. My only complaint is the wifi, I did try to do some work during my stay and it was unusable. Even trying to stream movies didn't work. But it was very relaxing and if they fix the wifi i would definitely recommend. “

We hung out by the fire pit a lot. The hot tub didn’t get hot enough since the temps were in the 40’s so we didn’t use it unfortunately. „This was an excellent property for our family gathering. The house has great views of the lake and a large back yard with a fire pit. The house has an open design and this allowed all of our guests to visit while some cooked. There are 4 bedrooms in the main house and a bunk house, so we had many good options for sleeping. „We enjoyed our visit. Home is well equipped and was clean. Manager was very receptive. Has plenty of cooking equipment. Has a grill, but we didn't use it. The only issue, and it's not the owner's fault, but we brought our dogs, and the dogs across the road were running loose almost the whole time, so we had to keep our dogs on the deck whenever we were outside. "I wanted to change the credit card and they put the rooms on 2 cards. The first room they gave us wasn’t ready had to go back and change the room. Breakfast was supposed till 9 but when I came 20min to 9 there was already everything gone not even a cup of coffee was left.The room was very loud but it was clean. Then at the check out I had trouble to get a receipt. I don’t stay there anymore "
