„The quiet location with windows and a deck overlooking the river offered great views and wildlife viewing. The owner, Russ, was very hospitable and provided helpful information about the area. Definitely would stay here again.A great beginning to our Alaska experience!“

„We really enjoyed our stay at the Cable House. Plenty of room for 4 people. Tanguy & Sebastian were very responsive. Shower had lots of hot water with pressure. Bedding was very comfortable. Full well equipped kitchen. House overlooks the water and is only 2 blocks from the main street. Unfortunately it rained our entire time there. Would have enjoyed sitting on the front porch. „We really really enjoyed our stay! The views of the mountains were beautiful, and the space was perfect for our group of 7. We got to enjoy the hot tub as well, a great way to end our chilly day adventures!“

„This well-equipped home was perfect for the 4 of us women. I slept on the couch, which wasn’t as comfortable as the beds, but the home was well-equipped in the kitchen, had a washer and dryer, and was located near downtown and the harbor. We needed bedding for the couch and owners were very responsive in bringing it over. “

„Small cabin, just for 1 or 2 people. However, the stairs up to the bed on the upper floor are very steep. Very welcoming and friendly hosts“

„This was an incredible property. There were 3 bedrooms which each had a queen bed. 3 couples (6 people) stayed very comfortably. There were two full bathrooms. The property was fully stocked. The owners live next door and came and visited when we checked in and they were very friendly and helpful. This was one of the best and most beautiful homes I've stayed in. Would 100% recommend to anyone else in the future.“

„This was our 2nd stay and it is a lovely home with all the comforts of home. To sit in the living room on a cool rainy day with the fireplace on made the cool rainy day not so gloomy. Connie was a delight to work with. If we travel back to Homer this is the only place we will stay.“
