„Eine bessere Lage in Bath gibt es nicht, das Hostel liegt direkt in der Innenstadt! Wir hatten ein Zweibettzimmer, welches sehr sauber und modern eingerichtet war. Das Serviceteam war sehr nett und sympathisch!“

„Laut Ihrer Homepage verfügt das Einzelzimmer über ein Bad mit teilweise offener Dusche. Aufgrunddessen habe ich dieses Zimmer gebucht. Was dort nicht ersichtlich ist, dass diese Dusche nicht im Zimmer sonder 10 m den Gang runter ist. Auch auf den dazu dargestellten Bildern ist dies nicht ersichtlich. Ich halte das für eine grobe Irrerführung, man hätte wie bei der Gemeinschaftsküche auch Gemeinschaftsbad schreiben müssen. Bei diesem Preis für eine Einzelzimmer hätte ich ein schönes Hotelzimmer ...

„Its a nice hostel with reasonable pricing. The location is not the best to get into the City since it's up on the mountain, but that means that it's incredibly quiet there! It's also good for hiking. There is a communal cooking space, but we were surprised that there is no stove there. That means you can only cook with an oven or a microwave.“

The CoalShed has real character and was a great place to hang out with my kids and use as a base to explore all the great stuff on offer in Bristol. „My stay was absolutely ok. Wifi access was a bit odd, phone could get the cloud but not my laptop. I was too late to get a parking spot and because the parking was on a hill I could see it was a difficult manoeuvre and so I could see frustratingly large gaps between the cars. So for future visitors it might be worth mentioning the parking is limited although thinking about it you may end up with people arriving at the same time and creating a traffic nightmare on the main road.
