„Immediately upon walking in, my boyfriend & I adored the fun decor & MI rock collection. The kitchen was well equipped with utensils, the bed was super comfortable, & the building location was fantastic! (Just minutes from several local cross-country ski tracks & some of my favorite rock hounding locations!) The only issue we ran across is that the shower likely needs replacing. But overall, really enjoyed our stay & we hope to be back in the future!“

„This cabin was fantastic. It was located perfectly to all the places we wanted to visit Our pups enjoyed the privacy and trail to run on as well. Only thing I missed on a vacation from home was a dishwasher and a TV in the bedroom. Would definitely stay again. “

„Four of us stayed at Todd's place and we had a fantastic time. The views from the house are stunning and the house itself is cute and the perfect size. We walked on the beach, skied from the house after a fresh snow, and enjoyed the sauna along with dips in the icy lake. We were able to easily access cross country ski and hiking trails. Todd was very responsive to our questions. We had an incredible time and highly recommend.“

„All the cozy vibes while visiting our MTU students for winter carnival weekend! Everything we needed to spread out, visit together, and enjoy our time. Many games of chess were played. Jacuzzi got a lot of use. Our college students enjoyed hiking in the snow & found some surprise igloos. Plenty of vintage books & decor add to the charm! Thanks for a great weekend.“

„We stayed here for my Son's state's Hockey tournament. It was a great house with lots of open spaces for ease of movement to cook and talk. The view was spectacular and it was so much fun to watch the snow storm role in. This house is atop a steep hill so thank goodness my husband had a truck to make sure we could go up and down with the snowfall. The roads got plowed everyday before we left and it was fine. There are no TVs so we had fun playing some card games we brought!“

„The Copper Harbor Peninsula is so quiet this time of year, exactly what I was looking for. The well-equipped house was easy to find and access and perfectly set up. It was just me this trip - hoping to spot some aurora - and this was a perfect getaway. The view of the lake was great, I enjoyed the deck on the couple days weather allowed. Loved watching the deer who seemed to arrive around 6 each evening. Interior - bed, bath, living space were all comfortable. Loved having a "extra" table for my ...

„Beautiful property - cozy, inviting, clean, warm, had everything we needed and more! Great communication with Sandy & Dan. They gave us great suggestions regarding nearby snowshoe trails, Quincy mine tour, MI Tech Mineral Museum (a must!) and restaurants (loved the Ambassador,) We would highly recommend Kemp's and plan to return to this sweet log home ourselves.“
