„My family and I (8 adults total -they made a special acceptation for us for an extra fee) had a lovely stay at the Big Sur Stone house celebrating my daughter and my birthday. This beautiful location can not be beat - the outdoor set up is great and we spent a lot of time outdoors. Note the outdoor tub only accommodates 2 people at a time. „We enjoyed our stay. The only thing I would suggest is that the game room be updated with AC. Thankfully we didn't need to use the game room because not all that were suppose to stay showed up. There were a few things in kitchen that could have been updated i.e. coffee maker that takes coffee pods, can opener (both manual ones were broken), no trash bags supplied even though the manual said they would be under the sink. For our first time renting at the lake, it was overall a good experience.“

„We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful property. The house is just as pictured. Its very spacious with nice furniture and kept very clean. We enjoyed the lovely outdoor space with the fire pit tables and hottub. A few more written instructions, like how to turn on the fire table, and outside string lights would be helpful, but we were able to figure it out. This is a really great spot for two families to enjoy. The communication with the owner was also great! “

„My son and I had a wonderful time staying in this lovely ranch house in the Panoche Valley. I’ve always felt this area was the last piece of the old west, complete with cattle, tumbleweeds, roadrunners, and ravens. When you get away here, you really do get away from it all.. We definitely could have stayed longer. The house was very comfortable and my son liked the loft, though I wouldn’t recommend it for younger children since there isn’t a railing. „For us rural, remote country is great. The room/old building we stayed in (Old Post Office) was also great. It was well decorated and comfortable. However, the bathroom is not connected to the building. This, in and of itself, might be ok. However, other people (ranch hands/mechanic?) were also using the bathroom. This freaked my wife out, especially after showering. This may just be a logistical issue for the property owners and easily remedied. However, we did not stay for the second night.“

„We came for the dark skies and we weren't disappointed. It is a great place for astrophotography-- but beware of the wind. The bunk house is fantastic. It is quite roomy, everything is brand new, and it has lots of great amenities. There is an outside patio with a fire pit and barbecue stations. Communication with the owner is easy and straightforward. Make sure to bring everything you will need as this place is pretty far from shops/gas stations etc.“
