„I needed last minute accommodations, and wanted something different than just another motel. This place was PERFECT. Absolutely cozy and comfortable cabin, a lovely outdoor space to relax or stargaze, and a very friendly host who has clearly put care and effort into this space. I wasn’t sure what to expect from a “glamping” type stay, and it was well above my expectations. My only regret is that I couldn’t stay longer!“

„This little log cabin is like something out of a movie. It is only 10 minutes from town which has everything you need but feels like you are way more peaceful and remote. Being there in December, everything was snow covered and gorgeous. The cabin is so cozy and comfortable; even in December it got very warm and had plenty of warm water. We were only there for a weekend but gladly would have stay longer relaxing and enjoying. The owner was so helpful and responsive. We had some issues with the ...

„Although we were in Maine for a family memorial service, we could not have asked for a better place to stay! My father grew up near Medway and the Penobscot River. So having a gorgeous view of the river from the cabin was wonderful! The place was spotless and well equipped. I will be looking to rent this place again the next time I’m planning to be up that way. “

„The house was beautiful and very clean! It was well stocked with everything we needed and surpassed our expectations in many ways! I would highly recommend this house to families- our kids are young and the water access, safety, and yard space were all perfect! Air conditioning in every room, outdoor fire pit, large deck, kayaks for use, washer and dryer on site- the list goes on. The Byrd’s make relaxing and simply enjoying this beautiful Maine lake house so easy!“

„We loved the location of this property. We have our own kayaks and we loved how easy it was to get them in and out of the water. We also enjoyed sitting on the wraparound porch where there is a nice breeze coming off of the other lake across the street. The kitchen is recently renovated and the bedrooms are nice and cozy. I have also never seen a place so well stocked with firewood. Property managers are ver friendly and helpful. 10/10.“
