Rural Farmhouse .. 9 Acres AND Heated Pool

Part of the bigstaynorfolk group of luxury, owner managed, Norfolk holiday rentals.
Set in an acre of garden with a huge outdoor pool, Hall Farmhouse is an elegant, period farmhouse in a picture postcard setting. The addition in recent years, of a 120sqm kitchen with sliding glass wall gives guests ininterrupted views and level access to the pool and patio.
The house has stunning views to the front over the award winning village green and pond and to the rear over several acres of rural fields.
SWIMMING POOL: The swimming pool measures 20 x 40 ft . It's depth is between 4ft and 10ft.
The pool is open and available from April 1st to October 31st and can be heated to 28 degrees on request at a charge of £40.00/night (charges apply for the entirety of the rental period) .

GARDENS AND LAND: Set in large private grounds, the garden has a 15ft trampoline and a large private outdoor swimming pool & 8 seat hot tub with enormous patio, charcoal BBQ, outdoor fire pit, table football and ping pong table.

Children's Items:
Travel cot, high chair, monitor, stair gates ( fixed and portable), steriliser, bed guard, night lights, baby bath seat and non-slip bathroom steps are all available at Hall Farmhouse.
Family Dogs:
Well behaved family dogs are very welcome but we ask that they remain downstairs at all times and not be left alone in the house unless crated.The back garden is fully enclosed.

BOUGHTON VILLAGE: Boughton is a beautiful rural village and has been the recipient of 'best kept village' award year on year.
The village centre is dominated by the village green and pond where an abundance of swans, ducks and geese contribute to the villages exceptionally pretty setting.
On the edge of the village green there is an U10's children's playground.
The village is surrounded by miles and miles of open countryside, ideal for cycling and walking.

Family Celebration
We had a great weekend away for three generations. Everyone made the most of the the pool, hot tub and garden which are fantastic spaces for all the family. Sandra was really helpful and responsive.

The perfect house for a family get together
Absolutely spot on what it says. The house has everything you need. The host said all we needed to take was, food, drink & charcoal for the BBQ. This is so true. The bedrooms, bathrooms, the kitchen & living area were spacious. With the living area going straight onto the patio area to the pool with several areas to sit & relax. This property is superb.

The most beautiful house in a beautiful location
This property had everything we could have dreamed of. Stylish big rooms, a games room, a stunning table which all 13 of us could get round. Games, inflatables for the pool, trampoline and goals for the children. We went on the hottest week of the year so the swimming pool was the most used favourite place to be!

All the family together to celebrate Big birthdays
What a lovely house in a beautiful place. Everything you could want or need in a great setting. Eating together, playing together, relaxing and chilling together and enough space to get away from it all when grandad needed a nap.. The heated swimming pool and log fired hot tub were well used despite the cold breeze and grey skies. All in all, a great time was had and even better memories made, that will last a lifetime. Great communication from Sandra, before, during and after. Thank you, from all of us.

Wonderful Spacious Fun House
Sandra & Gary were wonderful to deal with and both were helpful and attentive before, during and after our stay. The house has a stunning expansive kitchen which is the hub of the house and was a perfect venue for celebrating New Years' Eve and bringing all age groups together. Our dogs loved it too and felt very welcome. We found some lovely walks staight from the house. We had a fabulous meal at the Bedingfeld Arms. We were 3 families with many teens! We all very much recommend Hall Farm to others and very much hope to be back ourselves.

Beautiful Family Retreat
Large warm and comfortable home In a very pretty village. All the rooms are spacious, the bathrooms are luxurious and there was plenty of room for the eleven of us. The large family space included pool table and football table along with comfortable seating and a large dining table. The kitchen was well equiped and it was great to have extra fridge space. There were additional cost living spaces and lots of games. We were also very grateful for the mobility aids to support my mother. All in all a great Christmas home for us.

Great for large groups
We celebrated a family get together with a couple lovely nights at Hall Farmhouse. The property is ideal for large groups and we really enjoyed meals together around the large kitchen table. The children particularly liked the trampoline and the swimming pool, which was heated and was a nice temperature even for October. The owners were very helpful and have carefully put together a very useful (downloadable) handbook which was an easy go to for anything we needed to know. We are keen to return at some point and would definitely recommend the property.

We so enjoyed our three day trip to Boughton and the stay at Hall Farmhouse. It’s like a house of two sides - this Uber modern expansive kitchen / diner / mega lounge and outside area and then quirky, historic and cosy front of house. We had all that we needed and good for trips to the beach with the kids.

Absolutely stunning!
The 9 of us stayed at Hall Farm House on one of the sunniest weekends in July for my best friends hen weekend and it couldn’t have been more perfect!! Sandra was super helpful, answering questions and giving advice. The property was absolutely stunning and in fact better than the pictures!! We had a wonderful time and will certainly be back again! Who needs Ibiza when you have Sandra and Costa Del Boughton🤣 Thanks so much again to Sandra for an unforgettable experience!!!

A real entertaining house
The property is set in a beautiful location opposite a lovely big village pond, surrounded by countryside and lovely walks. We had two excellent meals at the Bedingfeld Arms - highly recommend. The ground floor of the property is great for a group. There is lots of space and we didn't ever feel we were on top of one another as there are two large sitting rooms to escape into as well as the very large garden with various private areas to sit. It's a real entertaining house and we loved that about it. We go away every year with grandchildren, parents, grandparents and great grandparents, one of our party is a young person in a wheelchair (very able to 'hop' up and down a step in their chair so we knew the steps mentioned around the ground floor would be possible). It's always a challenge to find a suitable property due to the various requirements as well as two family dogs! This looked like it would hit the spot. Unfortunately the wheelchair user was not able to stay. The downstairs wet room/shower room has no grab rails and the toilet is behind the door so the access to the toilet from a wheelchair is impossible. Sadly he fell badly and was afraid to stay any longer. I mention this as many of the previous reviews state that it was a great set up for older family members, but it is really not suitable for the frail or a wheelchair user who rely on grab rails to manoeuvre safely.

Perfect extended family break!
We spent the weekend at the property for my Dads 70th. Three generations under one roof and we didn’t leave once, as we had enough to keep all ages amused. Arranged for a shopping delivery for shortly after check in which worked out brilliantly. We spent all of our time in the large kitchen/diner, garden and pool playing games eating and enjoying a tipple. Just what we all needed!

Learning to Swim!
Our whole family stayed at Hall Farmhouse, a group of 12 ranging from 2 months to 60+! We had a great holiday and it was so nice for us all to be together! The kitchen/games room which has fantastic views over the pool and garden was where we spent all our time! So sociable and easy for all ages to be together without treading on each other’s toes. The beautiful swimming pool Was well used despite the weather and our granddaughter learnt to swim! All the bedrooms are well appointed with comfy beds and nice linens, really important for me in particular! We took the children to the petting farm, ten pin bowling and Go Ape, all within easy distance from the house. We did have a couple of problems but Gary and Sandra sorted them immediately, their communication and response was excellent! Thank you both

Fabulous!
An absolutely stunning property - even better than the photos and bigger than we expected! Lots of rooms downstairs to explore. Very clean, plenty of towels provided and wonderful communication with our host Sandra. The location was brilliant, in a very beautiful and quiet village with the duck pond opposite and a playground for the children. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The pool was wonderful and we were very fortunate with the weather. The only small downside (and not really one at all) was that there were lots of toys/games provided for the garden, but there seemed to be a lot of balls missing to actually play them. We luckily managed to find one ball for the ping pong table after searching for quite a while in the garden! And if being really fussy, it would have been lovely to have some nicer mugs for coffee and tea given the high quality of the house. Other than that, a truly wonderful weekend! Highly recommended.
