„Die Lancester Lodge in Cork war von der Lage perfekt, aber sie haben die Heizung fast dauerhaft abgestellt, was vor allem einmal sehr unangenehm war, als wir so gegen 17.30 Uhr ziemlich nass und ausgefroren zurückgekommen sind und das Zimmer richtig ausgekühlt war. Auf Nachfragen haben sie dann die Heizung (für einige Stunden) angestellt und uns einen zusätzlichen Heizer gebracht, fand ich aber nicht so die feine Art, was ich den netten Damen an der Rezeption auch gesagt hab, Sie können ja gerne ...

„Unique to the property was skeleton key to open and lock your room. Was great walkability to the whole town including pubs for dinner, fresh produce stores and pharmacy, not to mention a couple of different off licenses. „First, the good: The staff was very friendly and helpful. Also, the location is really good, just next to the Fitzgerald Park and UCC. The hotel was clean and pleasant, and the bed in my room was big and comfortable. However: I stayed in a single room. These are usually fairly small, but that room was surprisingly tight. There was barely any room to move around, or even to sit next to the small table. In the shower, there was a constant smell of bleach that didn't go away.“

„We didn't get to stay at Clon Ross, but were sent to Oakland B&B across the street. The room was shabby and noisy - from the street, but also from the piping. When other guests used their toilets at night, it made an incredible noise so we couldn't get to sleep much. The "great" breakfast wasn't great at all, toast and thin coffee, no fresh fruit etc...A disappointment considering the price!“

„The mansion is gorgeous, located in a gorgeous spot by the river. It’s surrounded by farms and you can see/hear cows for a majority of time. Views from the ground and upper floors are pleasant (river, farmland, occasional fog and a horizontal rain due to high winds). Plenty of space and neatly decorated rooms. Almost everything indoors is in a working condition, except for a one shower cabin in the basement that has a drainage problem. Disappointing aspect of the place was a dryer situation. ...
