"My husband and I stayed for a weekend so we could be close to the state parks. It was the PERFECT location. We visited the surrounding towns, parks and Ottowa's walking trails and downtown. The neighborhood is quiet and a 4 minute drive to downtown and 15-20 to the 3 parks. Sierra was a great host - easy in and easy out. We had everything we needed, and communication was great. We will stay again next time we're in the area!"

"Beautiful, newly constructed home with so many amenities! Everything in the house was first rate. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, no overcrowding. The kids loved the beach area, playing pickleball, cooling off in the pool and renting a pontoon boat at the marina."

"Overall the place is great. It sits back off a main road but it’s still quiet. We saw some wildlife from the kitchen window. We only used the master bedroom. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. I liked that they had a variety of K-cups for the Keurig. The only problem we had was the thermostat is locked. It was a little warmer than we like when we sleep. In the long run it wasn’t problem. I’d recommend this place to other people."

"Located halfway between Marseilles and Ottawa, where we spent time in both towns. Very large bedrooms and entertaining areas. Only issue was a very cold basement where 2 of the bedrooms are located. Hard to regulate temp in basement, must be regulated by upstairs thermostate. Would still stay there again."

"This cottage is super cute, outfitted for fun on the lake. It's great for a couple with small kids. The stairs up to the loft are a bit treacherous but the bunkbeds are cute and comfy. The back patio is perfect for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine enjoying the sunset over the pond."

"We rented Coty’s House for my granddaughter and her wedding party. So few places to stay in the area. She loved the house! It was spacious, convenient and clean. Diane was a wonderful communicator! This was the first time I had rented through Vrbo and he helped through my hiccups with great patience. Highly recommend this home if you are in the Streator area!"

"At first glance, this neat little two bedroom ranch style home, looked like it would fit our needs perfectly. We stayed two nights. During the first night, I woke from a sound sleep by a disgusting, putrid smell that was permeating from somewhere in the bedroom. It was dark in the room, and I could not identify the smell immediately.I went back and laid in bed. In the darkness, the smell was turning my stomach.
