We didn’t spend much time indoors because it was cold - right at the end of the season, the propane heater didn’t work and electricity was limited. So we sat around the fire all night and that was perfect. My friend was pickier than me and didn’t sleep well because of scratching critters at the bedroom’s door to the outside. I slept like a log because the interior room had no windows and it was blackout dark - perfect for me! I guess ...

This property met my needs and was as advertised (acceptable housing with a low-end cost). Walking distance to restaurants and Wi-Fi provided. I was worried about potential theft/damage to my vehicle as it was parked openly overnight, but it was fine. Property was clean and neat. For the price, I accept a few minor imperfections. „there were a lot of things I liked about the rental, but also a number of things we didn't enjoy. the house is nice in general. when we came there was a digital welcome sign welcoming "Gabe and friends" (none of us is Gabe) and we were confused first and not sure we were at the right house. in the room there was an empty napkins paper box, - why could not you throw it away before we arrived? it was not very clean (a long ago dead fly at the window) if you want to cook, bring everything ...

„We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The place was large enough for us to spend time together and to have personal space. Our host was extremely responsive to our communication and kind in her feedback. The s'mores fixings were a nice personal touch. „We had a New years wedding at the Harper Event Center in Meadeville and we so fortunate to find this listing! It was perfect for all of the family. Clean, well stocked and such a great layout! We will be saving this for future family outings. The weather was challenging, the house was warm and cozy, wish we had time to really sit and enjoy the view. We had quite a lttle blizzard and Daniella called to check on us! Looking forward to seeing this home in the summer & fall!“

„Excellent location; parked the car and never moved it. The room could benefit from room darkening blinds, especially during the Christmas season with the giant glowing snowflake just outside the windows. The stairs were a challenge for two seniors, but for younger people will probably not pose a problem. Otherwise the room was exactly as shown in the photos and was clean and spacious with a well stocked kitchen. We found it very comfortable.“

„The house is exactly as nice as it’s shown on the vrbo side. The interior is in friendly and bright colors. Elegant decorations and in the kitchen you will find everything needed to cook a nice meal. I give one star minus for the cleanliness. The refrigerator, also the dishes and the grill needed a cleaning. Nevertheless, the lake is beautiful, there are plenty good restaurants near by and you can make some great day trips to Lake Erie and don‘t miss the National Packard Museum in Warren, Ohio!“

„Great property in New Wilmington but not to far from New Castle shops and restaurants. The property has a great layout with comfortable furnishings, it was perfect for the 4 of us. Everything was in working order and none of the furnishings were overworn. We will recommend to friends and we will stay here again when visiting the area.“
