„I booked this home for my husbands 30th surprise. The house is ideal for gatherings as there is no one for miles to disturb. This property can be seen from the road and looks amazing. Unfortunately some of the party struggled to sleep due to the bedding having a strong smell. Other than the bedding the house is clean. I booked this home as it had a hot tub which didnt work which we we only found out on arrival and also a bbq which we then found out when we were there you needed coal which we ...

„Great location, friendly hosts, clean and spacious. We had a wonderful stay in this quiet, secluded farm cottage. Even though we were only 30minutes from Dumfries, it felt like we were deep in the country. Highly recommended for a family stay.“

„Caravan was comfortable and was OK for the couple of nights we stayed However some half used items of food had been left in the fridge and the furnishings were a little worn. Caravan and bed were creaky although this was mainly down to the high winds the weekend we were there.“

„The bedrooms were a generous size. With a large sitting room, spacious kitchen/diner, a separate dining room, and a second smaller sitting room with piano, there are plenty of options for getting together with your house guests. We were lucky with the weather, and ate breakfast on the patio and a barbecue in the garden. A memorable stay.“

„This is a fantastic cottage in an adorable village. It has rolling hills, a burn and lots of sheep! The cottage itself was quite large and was fit for our family of 6, including adult children and their spouses. It was clean, decorated well and rather comfortable. There are amenities within walking distance such as a pub, museum, etc. We wished we had stayed longer and we'll definitely return!“

„Check in was quick and easy (I had already completed on - line before arriving. Room was ready, clean etc exactly as advertised. Tea tray clean and properly stocked but no ‘little extra’ that you sometimes get with personal touches of a private B&B / guest house. Bathroom clean warm and the soft water was properly hot. Bed a good size and mattress really comfortable - quality sheets too. Only disappointment was having to pay for parking - that wasn’t obvious at the time of booking.“
