The kitchen is an updated modern farmhouse with an open layout. Also, a lovely butler’s pantry too. We were able to make dinner as well as breakfast! We will be back!! “

The kitchen was nice with nice appliances but the coffee machine’s water container was dirty with hard water build up. Sarah is a fabulous host who left no stone unturned in making sure the property was perfect for our stay. „Wonderful Views, Great Weather. It was the relaxing weekend we needed. Waking up to the birds and ducks on the water are the best. Enjoying coffee on the balcony while watching nature waking up. Nice docks and sitting area by the water to enjoy fishing if wanted. Would definitely recommend to others!!!!“

„So peaceful. We arrived at sunset and caught the moon rise, too. Kitchen and spices are sparse, but the location is amazing. Of course, driving anywhere in the foothills takes 40 minutes, just so you know. Luckily we got lost because we couldn't find the house number, but Cody, the winemaker, took care of us. So magical. Thank you!“

„We are a family of four and we had a great time. Hot tub worked well. We were there in the winter so we didn’t use the pool but it is a cute backyard. The patio furniture cushions need some sprucing up but it didn’t affect our stay as we didn’t sit out in the cold. The furniture was comfy and overall a great space!“

„Because no explicit address can be given, it was tricky to find where we were staying even with the photos supplied. Otherwise the amenities, cleanliness and location were all stellar. We would definitely stay again “

„I am so happy I found this home! My husband and I, along with some friends, had a wedding nearby and this was the perfect home for us to stay in. It has everything you could possibly need!! I almost wish we didn't have the wedding and could have spent more time in the home, it was absolutely gorgeous!“

„Der Teppich hatte Flecken - war irgendwie unangenehm. Der Abfluss der Wanne verstopft. Es war sehr laut. Morgens um 6:30 Uhr ist die Putzkolonne schon zu einigen Zimmern gerollt, was nochmal zusätzlich Lärm gemacht hat. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück ok, aber um 9 Uhr wurde alles weggeräumt - waren wir von den anderen Aufenthalten anders gewöhnt. Für eine Nacht ok“

"The Holiday Inn Express and Suites Modesto is a solid place to stay that offered us a clean, comfortably furnished suite in which everything worked perfectly. There was also a very decent breakfast by American standards. The only thing that could be improved is the rigid mounting of the television directly opposite one of the two beds, which unfortunately did not allow the television to be swiveled. If you book a suite, you will certainly want to be able to watch TV from the seating area. Another problem with our room 316 on the top floor was that it was apparently directly under a large ventilation system on the roof. The result was constant noise in the bathroom, comparable to being in a jet plane. And even in the suite, a constant humming and low-frequency vibration of the floor was unmistakable. So our advice: feel free to stay here, this is a nice hotel, but avoid staying on the 3rd floor if possible."
