Charming houseboat with 2+ bedrooms, awesome riverfront location in Knoxville

Get ready to relax in this marvelous 2+bedroom houseboat in Knoxville. This floating oasis features 1 queen bed and 2 twin beds, a cozy living room with an additional full bed, and a bathroom with a shower. Stay comfortable with heating, WiFi and A/C. Enjoy a home away from home on the beautiful Tennessee river close to downtown Knoxville and walking distance to restaurants and the beautiful University of Tennessee campus. Our place will help you feel at home while you're traveling in Knoxville with grill, golf cart and 2 new kayaks.

*Please note the following:*
Swimming is not permitted within 100 yards of the marina per state law. This accommodation may not be suitable for young children due to the proximity of water. Boat cannot be removed from the slip and must stay attached to the dock.

Other Items of Interest:
A golf cart is provided for transport of luggage and guests and can be used to visit nearby restaurants.
**Tennessee Vols home football game weekends require a two night minimum stay**
Loud parties and loud/obnoxious behaviors are not allowed and strictly enforced by the marina.
Please note that UTopia is a small boat, much like a one bedroom apartment with a loft. The boat is perfect for two people with a queen size bed in the main birth, a galley (kitchen) that is fully equipped, a bath with full size shower and a salon (living room) with a sectional that can be put together to make a double bed. In the lower berth there are two twin mattresses. While there can be sleeping accommodations for six people, two will be quite comfortable, four will be okay for close friends or family, and six will be very cozy for VERY close friends or family. Each sleeping area has a flat screen TV.

There are also three outdoor areas to enjoy the beautiful views of the Tennessee River and Knoxville's beautiful bridges. The forward deck can accommodate 6 for outdoor dining and the aft deck has a seating area for two. The upper deck has seating for six and a 50 in flat screen TV to enjoy.

Owner will need to meet you prior to check-in in Marina parking to hand over the keys and ensure you find the proper boat.

Must experience
Great experience from start to finish. The owner was so kind and helpful. The boat is clean and as advertised. Owner met us on arrival and gave instructions on using the golf cart and the houseboat. If you know anything about downtown Knoxville and parking, you know how useful that golf cart was. Highly recommend the experience. Will definitely book again.

Terrific Stay for Game Weekend
My family (3 of us) stayed on Dan’s houseboat for a game weekend in Knoxville. We absolutely loved the accommodations. The boat had everything we needed to sleep comfortably and enjoy our time there. On the boat, we spent most of our time in the outdoor sitting areas which had plenty of space for larger groups and a great view of the Tennessee river. The provided golf cart was great for bringing in groceries and bags but the dock is also a very quiet and peaceful place to walk if you prefer to stretch your legs. Dan met us at the parking area to hand us a parking pass for our car and show us around the dock and the boat. He was very friendly and quickly answered our calls/texts when we had questions about the TV and dinner recommendations. We would highly recommend booking this stay if you are looking for a convenient place to tailgate with friends and family or if you are just interested in a unique and relaxing place to visit Knoxville.

UT Family Weekend Stay
If you are looking for a unique place to stay near campus, this may be for you. Houseboat was as described but note that 2nd bedroom is below deck and tight entry. We thought our son may want a break from the dorm but it was too small for him. My husband and I did fine in master and bed was comfy. Bathroom is tiny and you will need to follow owner’s recommendations on how to keep toilet working properly. We enjoyed the upper deck with TV and mornings outside with coffee. We used golf cart to go to Calhouns and then walked to stadium for football game. Owner was very responsive and assisted us with questions and getting golf cart fixed when we realized lights did not work.
