Wouldn't book it again...
The hotel itself is not too bad and could be turned into a significant better place with some effort. The deluxe rooms are spacious and embedded in a nice garden. However everything appears a bit run down. The bathroom is partly open but functional.
The breakfast is very basic and repetitive. If you like eggs-good for you. If you're more into fresh fruit - there are none! (Never experienced this in any hotel in Thailand before.)
Despite being located pretty much in the middle of nowhere, it seems there is no restaurant or bar in the hotel. (Based on the taste of the breakfast it's probably better this way).
The hotel is quite a distance from the beach and the road is not made for walking. Taxis on the island are rather expensive. There is a hotel shuttle to the nearest beach four times a day. (last shuttle at 8p.m.) To go back you need to call the hotel and if you're lucky the driver will show up. If not, be prepared to pay 300 baht for two persons for the short ride from the beach back to the hotel.
Overall there are definitely better options on the island.
