„Most beautiful place, felt like home. Only a few minutes into town. Up the road 2 minutes drive down a dirt track (4x4 would be recommended) best spot for fishing. However not much shade. Home itself, is perfect! All amenities, fireplace and the birds are just amazing to watch. Would have loved to stay longer. “

„We had a great stay at Silkwood on the Goulburn, with almost anything you could need/want in an accomodation.Also very handy having the pub walking distance away.The only negative comment would be that you have to take all your own linen and towels, as for the price, we felt this should have been included.“

„Great countryside getaway with lots of wild kangaroos, deers and native birds. Fantastic sunrise and sunsets views over Lake Eildon. Very spacious house with plenty of room for 6 adults. Clean and comfortable beds and the heating is good (critical for a winter stay), but the pots/pans/stovetop in the kitchen needed better cleaning and towelrails were missing in the bathroom. „We were a family group of adults wanting a place to stay with our dogs and a place to moor our boat for water skiiing. We had that - although it was a bit of a rocky trek to the pontoon, but the outcome was worth it for that tiny inconvenience. It was paradise sitting on the deck with the wildlife singing. A rustic house that was clean and spacious and great for the 8 of us. Be careful of the maps app sending you from Eildon to the property via a four wheel drive track.which was not pleasant ...

We had everything except the marshmallows to toast on the fire.
