This was our seventh visit to the island, and for the first time, we wished we had stayed at a resort instead of a vacation rental. The yard was nice, but we couldn't enjoy it due to constant noise from a daycare next door. The pool looked inviting but needed skimming before each use because of the unbelievable amount of iguana droppings, bugs, and plant debris. It’s also very deep, making it hard for anyone under 6 feet to stand or sit on bench comfortably.
The master suite was a highlight—newly renovated and comfortable—but the other rooms felt dated, and the doors and windows were hard to open, close, and lock. Parking was also an issue during the day, as daycare staff vehicles filled most of the street.
While the kitchen was stocked with plenty of spices, there were issues: the dishwasher's utensil basket and detergent door were broken and no dishwasher soap. Also, there was no hot water connection to kitchen sink or dishwasher.
