"I stayed at Hotel Emion for four nights. The room itself was spacious and spotless clean. Unfortunately I didn’t check out the Onsen, but all amenities were provided. The location is super convenient to explore Kyōto and the Kansai area. Only a couple of minutes away from the nearest train station, Kyōto station is only one stop away. Breakfast include a wide variety of Japanese and Western options. During busier time you might be asked to wait for a few minutes for a table to clear. In my case the wait was never more than five minutes. All of the staff were super friendly and helpful. Most of them speak or at least understand English. Overall I highly recommend the Hotel when staying in Kyōto and as a base to explore the whole Kansai area."

"Relative zentral gelegene und mit U-Bahn und Bus sehr gut erreichbare Unterkunft. Kleine Zimmer (wie üblich in Japan) aber angemessenes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis."

"Barfusspflicht im gesamten Gebäude war eigenartig und speziell. Es hat das Gefühl gegeben, wie zu Hause. Das Frühstück war abwechslungsreich. Die kostenlose Ramensuppe abends war besonders nach dem Onzen-Besuch willkommen. Alles in allem hat es uns im Hotel sehr gut gefallen."

"Sehr praktisch gelegen. Man hat alles was man braucht. Ich finde das Zimmer sieht etwas zu düster aus. Ansonsten hat alles gepasst."
