Villa Tucán - La Fortuna

Great colonial style Villa located just 4 blocks from downtown La Fortuna, it features 4 bedrooms with A/C unit each one, 3.5 full bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, WiFi (20 Megabytes - Optic Fiber), Cable TV, open living room with a balcony next to the pool with an amazing volcano view, laundry area (Washer and Dryer), safety deposit box, private parking and Cable TV. Highly recommended for couples, families and friends visiting La Fortuna and Arenal Volcano area.

The colonial style is a house that is open, obviously is all gated but all areas of the house are facing the pool and garden areas, living room is an open area that you can sit and relax overlooking the pool area and Arenal Volcano, there is no walls between living room and pool area, so you will get a fresher house. This is the stile of houses dated from 1820 to 1920, mainly located in the lowlands of Guanacaste province, the owners use to live in Guanacaste and decided to create a similar villa with all the amenities of a Hotel.

The house is very spacious, comfortable, private, secluded and just 4 blocks away from the central park. The house is located just 4 blocks from downtown La Fortuna, there are 3 bedrooms:
Bedroom 1: King size bed, A/C unit & Private bathroom
Bedroom 2: King sized bed and A/C unit
Bedroom 3: King sized bed and A/C unit
Bedroom 4: Two king size beds, A/C unit & Private bathroom

The property has a large private pool with excellent view to the Arenal Volcano, very private property, great living room and terrace with smart TV, fully equipped kitchen, laundry area and private parking. Excellent property to enjoy your vacations in La Fortuna/Arenal Volcano area.
The house was remodeled on October 2022 adding the fourth bedroom and the swimming pool area, plus some others improvements.

Fantastic Property
We had a great stay at this property in La Fortuna Costa Rica. Our transportation was a little confused on the location, but thankfully the host was in constant contact with us and solved everything. Delightful property with many bedrooms and a private pool. Walking distance of everything we needed. Highly recommend!

All around amazing
I’ll start of by saying the house is so unique and beautiful and is a perfect place to stay in La Fortuna. Having an open living space was great with a perfect view of Arenal. The property is located within walking distance of all the restaurants, sodas and grocery stores you need and a short drive to all the activities and adventures around Arenal. We were 2 families of 4 and the kids spent all their time in the pool when not out and we never felt on top of each other. Highly recommend this house for a stay in La Fortuna!!

Ideal spot to stay in La Fortuna
The host was great, the view of the Arenal Volcano was magnificent, the secluded pool was luxurious, the clean rooms were comfortable, and the location was ideal for our stay. Being in the middle of town the only drawback was traffic noise in the middle of the night (unavoidable). Would definitely stay again if the opportunity arises.

We had four couples stay in the property and completely enjoyed it. The pool was the highlight but its location close to central La Fortuna was great for dining and getting groceries. Property management was best I have experienced. Excellent help with transportation and excursions. I strongly recommend using them.

Beautiful place, beautiful views
We can't express how much we enjoyed staying at this place. It's the most beautiful VRBO I've ever seen in my life. Sitting next to the pool in the morning drinking our coffee before we went adventuring was the perfect way to start the day. We felt very safe even with the open concept. The view of Vulcan Arenal was phenomenal everyday we were there.

Beautiful views and close to many activities
We stayed for three nights and enjoyed the surrounding nature, hiking, local restaurants, and great views. The house is really nice with an open courtyard and although we thought there might be bugs or weather problems, it was great, and we all enjoyed the unique arrangement in this house And the incredible view. We had no problems, communicating with the host on WhatsApp, and everything went smoothly checking in and out.

Perfect location
This is the perfect location for your visit to La Fortuna. You can walk anywhere you like for food, groceries, entertainment, tours, and shopping. The house is very nice with some of the prettiest flora I've ever seen in a vacation home. The check in was easy and the hosts were very attentive. Definitely choose this place!

Great place with a private pool
The vacation home offered the best indoor and outdoor living. The open concept home had plenty of space for our group. The private pool, with an amazing view, was a welcomed feature especially after returning from excursions at the end of the day. The location was in a quiet neighbourhood but yet very walkable to restaurants and shops on the main strip. When checking in the staff at the office helped us plan and book our excursions that were best suited to our needs. All around a great experience.

Perfect Location to Experience La Fortuna and Arenal
Everything about the house (and the property manager) was fantastic. We loved the open-air configuration of the living spaces, especially knowing that we all could retreat at the end of the day (or whenever we needed respite from one another) to our separate, air-conditioned bedrooms. Being in town, within walking distance from markets and restaurants, helped us feel like something more than tourists, even if we were not quite locals. And the open-air shower in the master bathroom with an unobstructed view of Arenal Volcano was an added bonus.

Beautiful patio with a view!
What a beautiful place to stay! The outdoor patio is so wonderful to sit with a glass of wine. You will see beautiful views of Arenal as you sip. You can also see Arenal from the shower in the main bathroom. Pretty incredible! It's a beautiful, clean, apartment within easy walking distance of all things La Fortuna. Check-in was a breeze. In fact, they went above and beyond.

Large home with lots of space
The bedrooms were air conditioned and were very cool - one thing to note: you must exit the living room and walk under porch outside to access the bedrooms but super secure as everything in back is enclosed by a large concrete Fence - the locks need replacing as difficult to work for both sections of home - the outdoor living space and market lights and outdoor tv made for even more space that was super comfortable as it had two porch swings and seating for all of us and we loved that - if you have a large family this is a perfect home for price point as it has modern bathrooms and is clean and really close to everything - it is also super close to town and the BAC credit bank is just a half a block - also has a store right across the street, so if you need any groceries it is nice to have

Excellent place to stay!
The location was great, close to main square with a local soda (excellent food) and market on the corner. The house itself was great, can be very open air if preferred, air conditioning in the bedrooms with comfortable beds. We spent most of our time on the covered patio, it was wonderful. The staff in the office were all very helpful, and the tours they recommended were good. Especially recommend the sloth tour at Jose's and the cooking class. Recommend this for families, couples or friends!

Great location in the heart of La Fortuna with Volcano Arenal View
Highly recommend this property if you are visiting La Fortuna. It has a great location right in the heart of La Fortuna and a gorgeous view of Volcano Arenal. You can walk downtown to all the resturant and souvenir shops and you have a supermarket across the street from the home. You get to experience an authentic Costa Rican home as it used to belong to a family prior to it being a vacation rental. Hot shower in the master bedroom with view of Volcano Arenal was a selling point for us. The best part however was the guys from Home Vacations La Fortuna, the company that manages the property. They were super helpful and assisted us with recommendations, booking activities in the area for us as well as with scheduling our covid test needed to return to the US. They have a certified doctor that can come to your VRBO the day prior to your departure, take the test and provide results prior to your departure. I loved the covenience of working with Home Vacations La Fortuna as that made our trip smooth. Check out their properties!
