Iconic Landmark House Unit next to the beach- Panoramic Ocean/Coastal Views!

An ocean front landmark house designed by a famous designer, remodeling recently. The windows, and floors are replaced last month. Next to the attraction of La Jolla cove. Walking distance to restaurants, museum, beaches, galleries and stores in La Jolla village. It is the best location in La Jolla. A historical house with many upgrads. If you are looking for best location, convenience , and oceanfront , here is the place for you.

This house is divided into two units with its own entrance and privacy. The two units are totally independent except sharing the laundry and garage as well as air condition temp controller. The garage can fit a SUV or Stand car for each unit. Both can reserved for the same period of time if available. Good for family reunion and wedding. The upstair unit 2 ID is VRBO 2786466. If you want to rent whole house , you need to booking both units.
We have added soundproof material and redone the floor on the upstairs unit to reduce the noise from upper level.
Both units share the same laundry with one washer and two dryers.
No party unless other unit is vacant.
It is by the ocean, you smell ocean and hear the sounds of waves. It is not perfect as luxury five star hotel rooms but you can cook and BBQ with the view of ocean.

This unit (unit 1) is downstairs part of the house with exclusive use of the main entrance, sharing the garage, the laundry and the backyard with upper stair unit.
This unit consists of a living room, a kitchen, a dining room, a larger master bedroom (bedroom 1) with a king bed with its own full bath, a bedroom (bedroom 2) with a queen bed, and a smaller bedroom (bedroom 3)with two single beds for kids and a three quarter bathroom.
The master bedroom (bedroom 1) comes with a den equipped with a futon sofa bed, full size bathroom and a large deck with BBQ stove of ocean and coast view.
Bedroom 2 with ocean view comes with a balcony of ocean view.
The small size bedroom 3 has two single beds for kids with view of the side yard.
In living room, there is a futon bed.

Fabulous location and wonderful stay
We loved our stay in this fabulous location right along the water. The comfortable three bedrooms (one small) worked well for our group of five. We enjoyed making coffee in the kitchen, sitting inside or at the round outdoor table, and looking out over the ocean. It was also a great place to walk to La Jolla Cove, shops and restaurants downtown or other locations along the water. Really a wonderful place

Wow - this property exceeded all our expectations! The location cannot be beat - all-in-all it was the best home in we've ever stayed. Its outdoor areas and inside views are breathtaking, offering expansive water views and the serene sounds of waves, which photos simply cannot do justice. During mornings and evenings on the deck, we enjoyed listening to the sounds of birds and crashing waves while watching the lively scenery—a flawless setting for our unforgettable family vacation. The house itself leaves nothing to be desired, equipped with every conceivable luxury. Its location is ideal, only a short stroll from the beach and local attractions including top-notch recreation spots, excellent dining, and quaint boutiques. Every corner of the home, inside and out, is meticulously crafted and maintained to ensure maximum comfort and relaxation! Our host, Simon, was a joy to interact with—warm, attentive, and exceptionally responsive. He swiftly addressed any inquiries we had, enhancing our stay with his commitment to guest comfort and meticulous attention to detail. This property is truly unique, and after our experience, it's difficult to consider staying anywhere else. We even extended our stay and reluctantly left only because we had to. I want to start by saying that is one of the best beach houses I have ever stayed at. It has all the amenities needed to make you feel at home. The view of the ocean is breathtaking and the whole house is spotless. 10/10 would recommend!!

Stunning views. Can't wait to go back.
What a great house to rent for the week! Pretty much fully stocked. Kitchen had all the utinsils you could think of. Fully stocked bathrooms and lots of towels. Beds were all super comfortable. You absolutely cannot beat the view. We will definitely be booking again. The rooms have some weird configurations but it's totally doable. The master is wonderful with its own private patio and full bathroom. Second bedroom has an incredible view via windows and another small patio looking over the ocean. Other rooms are a small converted closet or office maybe with a single twin but the view is stunning. There's another very small room with two twin beds and no room for much more. It connects to to a shared laundry for the upstairs apartment. I would recommend taking the upstairs unit also and we will try to do so next time also. There were people above us walking around like elephants with the TV on super loud. Def not the owners fault but the upstairs unit is very loud, you can hear everything. The parking garage is tight and I would recommend to the owners just designating a side to each rental to prevent confusion when the units are both rented. It will fit two small SUV if you don't mind being tight. I'd also recommend another big and comfortable couch in the living room if possible. It isn't super comfortable and I think we would have spent more time there had there been more comfortable furniture in that room. Almost every room has a gorgeous view. We will be back soon!

The house was in a beautiful location! Can't beat the walkability and the view! Plenty of room for our family. The owner was very prompt at responding to messages! Like other reviews mentioned, the garage was small but it does fit a small crossover SVU (probably not a van or any 3 row car...).

Perfect location!
The location of this house couldn't be more incredible! Walking distance to snorkle/dive with sea lions and many other fun activities. Plenty of delicious food options nearby. The house was very nice, plenty of room, nice kitchen, laundry room and the parking in the garage is plenty big for a normal sized car. There was a problem with the gas when we first arrived but the owner showed up immediately, had it fixed in no time and was very pleasant to work with. If you like a softer mattress note that the beds are quite firm but if you like that then they're perfect. It was so nice to be able to just step outside and watch the sun set over the ocean. We enjoyed watching the surfers in the mornings and one morning even watched as a pod of dolphins played behind them. This house was a wonderful experience and we would definitely return.

Women's Retreat
We enjoyed a weekend stay at this beautiful home. It was peaceful. The ocean views from all of the balconies are just amazing. The sounds of the waves crashing at night were like a natural soundscape. And you get the most beautiful sunset over the ocean views from the master bedroom patios. We had all the privacy we needed with quick access to all the shops we needed. Just amazing.

Awesome View
View from the house overlooking the ocean is very nice. Every room has an ocean view. The owner is very nice and prompt with answering our inquiries and requests. Since there was nobody checked in prior to our dates, Simon (owner) let us check in as early as 10 am. My wife and her friends enjoyed staying at the patio and just enjoying the view. I highly recommend this place, either to celebrate a special occasion or just wanting to relax.

The view was amazing! The house is a little older but still nice. Ensure to be open with the host as their was a little miscommunication. You can sorta hear the other unit but believe that is normal. Overall, very nice and everyone enjoyed it.

The grounds are beautiful, our daughter got married up the street at the wedding bowl if was a perfect location. Family stayed upstairs In the other unit which accommodations 2 people and has a fantastic panoramic view. Needed some minor things (light bulb..etc) & owner came over right away he look care of our concerns.

I Could Not Have Asked For A More Wonderful Experience
This rental is in the perfect location - right across the street from the beach and within walking distance to Prospect St and most of La Jolla’s top spots. There’s an absolutely gorgeous, breath-taking view of the ocean from almost every room of the house, plenty of space and the decor is beautiful. The host Simon was extremely helpful the whole time, he answered every phone call and any issue we had was resolved within an hour or so. He even came by late at night to help us work the TV in the living room. We rented this property to throw a birthday party and I could not have asked for a better experience. As long as you are honest with the host about your plans and keep everything within the allotted event hours, this is a wonderful house to throw events in! I will definitely be back!
