„The place was nice, but very small. The only bathroom is a porta-potty and the shower is a shared between all guests of the entire campground, which was not clearly defined in the listing. There is no cell service, so communication once arriving is very difficult.“

„Our original lodging became unavailable to to an unforeseen circumstance. The staff at Manitou Lodge were so helpful and accommodating. We ended up staying in the lodge and had a blast. The rooms were great and fit us well. The community space in the lodge was great as well. We were comfortably able to play games and spread out. The only thing it lacked was a kitchenette. „Everything was great. Loved the little fireplace on a cool evening. The only thing that caught me off guard was that it wasn’t on the edge of Forks but several miles outside of town so more driving than I expected after an already long day of driving. Not much for food nearby, but overall it was a nice and quiet place to stay.“

„It was rustic and cozy, we loved the space. Everything was clean and as advertised. The only complaint I would have is that the sauna was not plugged in and there was no outlet close enough to plug it in, but we had fun by the fire instead. This seems like an easy thing for the owner to fix and should not be a problem for future guests, though the two ladies we had with us were disappointed.“

„Manitou Lodge is in a beautiful tropical forested area. The Lodge and our bedroom were homey and nice. Our bed was the most cushy of all on our road-trip. The bathroom, however needs attention. The outdated pink tub had black mold everywhere! The sink area also needs replacing. “

„Due to technical issues unbeknownst to us, the campground isn't actually open for another month. We found this out after booking, driving there, setting up our site, and sleeping one night. Explains why our site wasn't cleared or cleaned and no bathroom/shower/or waste facilities were available. But, we paid for 2 nights so we stayed for two nights. All that being said, this was probably the best campsite I've ever stayed at. 4 stars only for lack of communication and no facilities at the time. ...

„For reference, we stayed at site 21. Campsites 1-12, were ideal. From there, there was a great variation from campsite to campsite. Some had a walking path to the actual site and some were more easily accessible. Car space is super limited. The biggest area of improvement, from the perspective of our campsite, was bathroom and water access. Otherwise it was a nice campsite. We were able to fit a 6P tent in our site, but I wouldn’t say all would be able to. The rain shower!!!! To be honest, ...

„This is our second time stay and just as magical as the first. Location is one of the best on the peninsula; home is cozy, clean and quiet. Whether hanging out and watching the local wildlife or spending the day at the nearby beaches and park land, the moments we had are some of the best memories in the ONP.“
