Die Küche des Küchenchefs verfügt über wunderschöne Granit-Arbeitsplatten, eine durchgehende Küchenrückwand und eine individuell gestaltete Dunstabzugshaube. Freuen Sie sich auf Annehmlichkeiten im Garten, darunter ein Salzwasserpool / Spa mit Kieselsteinen und kaskadierendem Wasserfall sowie eine eingebaute Grillinsel, ein großer grasbewachsener Nebenhof und viel Platz auf der Terrasse für Unterhaltung. Das Haus wurde vor kurzem möbliert und am 1. März 2016 neu möbliert. Bitte fordern Sie eine Vorabgenehmigung an, bevor Sie Festivalwochen buchen (z. B .: Coachella, Stagecoach).

A lot of deferred maintenance
The property is on the Indio side of La Quinta in an attractive gated neighborhood community about 10 minutes from La Quinta village. The owners do not appear to be maintaining the property: neither garage door worked, the BBQ was mostly non-functional, 1 exterior door didn't lock and many doors/locks are hard to open and close. The jacuzzi operated intermittently, toilets all need servicing (don't flush, run, etc.) and upstairs sink drain backs up quickly. Even several trees in the yard are dying. It's roomy, with a nice kitchen and a nice layout, and with some TLC/maintenance assumed it's a pleasant place to hang out.

nice but not premium
the owner of property needs to update their thinking on how to accommodate the quest. tv service was out dated and was useless. there was no written instructions on how to operate fire places or tvs or the heating units or the spa and pool. the maintenance people sent out to help us were very nice but had no clue how things worked. we had to buy plastic bowls and plates since very few were provided. no dish towels or wash rags were in the house. For a premium rental it was lacking in what we find in other premium rental units. nice place but not well managed.

Their Vrbo listing does not lay out important information that aligns with their paperwork after booking. There are also very strict rules not listed on Vrbo, like NO MUSIC OUTSIDE, NO EXCEPTIONS. We paid $$$ up front for cleaning fees THEN we found out we had to strip the beds, take out the trash, and clean our own tub...I'll get to that. We need to know everything when booking and paying UP FRONT. Not too keen on "sneaking in extra rules" once there are no refunds. Vrbo says check-in time of 3pm, their paperwork said 4pm. Had to call and make sure that we could still have 3pm check-in since people are flying in. They said "depends on the condition the prior renters left it in, you may have to wait til 4pm. We can let you know that day."....What??! The lockbox code was incorrect ON THEIR OWN APP, so I had to call in a second time to management for the correct information. Our hot tub drained overnight and we had to have maintenance come out during our stay. Third call to management. Also, the master tub was not clean. Jets spewed out dirty water and we had to wash it multiple times before just giving up. This was supposed to be a highlight for our birthday girl who stayed in the master bedroom. She was VERY disappointed. Our bedroom, the people who booked this expensive rental, slept POORLY because someone decided to flip a pillow top on its top. So we were unknowingly sleeping on zero support for two nights!! Any professional cleaning service (or adult that has a bed and a brain) knows you can't flip a pillow top, just rotate. Needless to say, my entire body is still in pain days later; and I have a disability, so I'm pretty upset that this happened. Finally, I wouldn't consider this a "Five Star Vacation Rental" for the aforementioned and following reasons: -Not clean! (found wet towels shoved under our bathroom sink and the master tub was filthy) -Not stocked with high-end essentials (Suave and Irish Spring are not what I consider five-star toiletries) -Kitchen spices were EMPTY so cooking was a challenge. (Had to go to the store to buy some for ourselves and left them for the next renters, you're welcome.) -There were only a FEW pool towels, none of which matched. We had to keep cycling them out in the dryer so people could dry off. Not nearly enough for 5 people, let alone the 11 we had. -Despite being nice, management did not seem organized at all. I feel owed a partial refund because this house was DIRTY & misrepresented.

We had such a wonderful stay. The fireplaces and location of this home are fantastic. I felt like I was in Tuscany in this home. Only downside was the pool sticks were almost all broken but that’s the only complaint.

Not a Five Star Experience.
We had many issues with this rental. The listing does not communicate that the property is in a strict gated community. A 5 bedroom house however only 4 vehicles are allowed, there is no street parking within a mile if the gated areas. The driver information had to be submitted 24 hours prior to arrival. When we arrived at the property the guard did not have any of this information, when the guard and I called Five Star Rentals to get access, the Five Star representative abruptly hung up the phone to call the main guard office. There is NO outdoor music allowed. The house needs repair, there are holes in some walls from door handles and missing wall hardware. There are broken umbrellas, torn patio cushions, and broken glass on the side yard of the house. Most disappointing of all, the pool was cloudy. When we arrived there was large amount of garbage that the previous renters had left next to the trash cans which was covered in ants. The house is beautiful and the rooms are large however we expected a Five Star experience for the Five Star price we paid.

Can't beat location- House maintenance needs some work
We were a bit leery when we read prior reviews, but were assured it was "all good" now. We arrived to a VERY green pool and one of the bathrooms' plumbing hardware not even working. This was impossible to believe since we were told a tenant had just left the property the same day as our arrival. We immediately called the property management company and they were very receptive and helpful. The pool company ending up coming 3x during our week stay. Unfortunately, the plumber had to come back a second time as they did not fix it properly to begin with- and it is still leaking. The house could be PERFECT if they were willing to put some extra love and attention into it. The house has a well stocked kitchen for cooking.

Stayed here with a group of friends and was great. Super nice and clean. Only “complaints” would be the amount of restrictions (not being able to play music, only 4 cars allowed, etc) and that the pool table had all broken sticks so couldn’t even use that. Usually I wouldn’t care, however, when it’s 110 degrees outside, you wanna stay inside and not being able to play made it kinda boring. But other than that, it was a beautiful place!

Stunning Property
This property is absolutely stunning! Private residence with all the accommodations. Pool, outdoor TV, a lot of seating areas all around the backyard. Property was clean upon our arrival and we spent the best 5 days of our vacation. Management company were responsive to any questions I had during my stay. Only downfall were the trash bins full upon our arrival, so by the time we left there were bags sitting outside the trash bin. Aside from that we will be booking this property for future desert vacations.

Great spot for large groups
After reading the most recent reviews, I was a little worried about the property and our experience over a long weekend. There were a few hiccups—parking restrictions can be tough with a large group, but we made it work; incorrect key lockbox code on app; pool maintenance man showed up mid-day on our second day, while we were all in the pool. Yes, the ice maker was broken and the pool table was “dirty” but nothing that I wouldn’t expect for a full-time vacation rental. Plus, we definitely aren’t pool sharks and we’re fine picking up ice at the grocery store, which was close by. Overall, the house was great. Of course, there were some things that could have been cleaner or more equipped, but nothing that made our stay unbearable. All of the rooms have a full bathroom, which is great with large groups, and there is plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. The property management staff was extremely friendly and great to work with, and addressed any concerns beforehand. I’d recommend this property for a large group with realistic expectations.

Great house Bad Shape
House needs a good deep cleaning. Stains on sheets, towels, walls etc. Dishes , Pots & Pans worn, ice maker in Bar doesn't work. Patio furniture is a wreck, cushions are filthy & don't fit. Pool table is worn & Dirty. It's really too bad because it's a really cool house that needs alot of TLC. This is a 1 star in the 5 star vacation line up.

Nice Property needs to be managed
Great location and Large property. Not well managed. The foliage around the property is not well maintained and a lot of debris around the walk ways and out door patio. Our group of guys saw a mouse in the kitchen a couple times during our three day stay. additionally we saw a mouse in the grill one night we used it. Pool and spa was very nice with a great view.

Great for group of couples
We really enjoyed this property and would come back again. I will say though there is definitely room for improvement and it begins with the management company. Prior to arrival, there was no response to any messages left through VRBO. And none of the concerns raised by the previous review were addressed. They were dismissive and unconcerned about the alarming review left. I will say the place as far as linens/towels general area was clean, but yes it needs a professional deep cleaning on the carpet (esp. in the master bedroom) and a lot of the furniture. There are a lot of stains throughout but I get that this is part of the wear and tear a rental takes. There is also a lack of attention to detail. No house manual with wifi/spa/home information. Bare minimum of towels...Only two bath towels provided even in the master. No soap or shampoo provided. We ran out quickly of the little dish soap and garbage bags. Of course none of this is a huge deal but minor inconveniences. And as a previous renter mentioned there are minor repairs throughout the house that need to be tended to. The layout and property itself is GREAT. And we had a lot of fun here...place just needs better management!!

Avoid like the plague!
My family and a group of our friends rent a home in La Quinta annually. We have had wonderful experiences thus far, however this year was a bit different. I will start with some positive remarks from this home because, although we didn't have a great experience, I believe this home has potential if MAJOR changes are made. There are 5 bedrooms and each room has its own bathroom- difficult to find a rental of this size with a bathroom for each guest. Three of the rooms have bathtubs (this is great when you travel with young children). Additionally, the kitchen was supplied with "higher end" appliances. Negative- for starters, this house was NOT clean. I would prefer to use the word disgusting... and this was absolutely our biggest complaint. Upon walking into our room, we noticed a piece of "trash" under the bed, which to my horror was a condom wrapper. This prompted me to look further only to find even more (band-aid, red solo-cup, snack wrappers, etc). Pretty disgusting, especially when you pay a pretty hefty cleaning fee to stay here. The sheets and comforters on the beds were stained. My comforter, in particular, had [what I believed to be] red lipsticks on it. Isn't it standard to have CLEAN SHEETS?! Cobwebs- I am not talking a day or even a weeks worth of small cobwebs, I am talking MASSIVE amounts of cobwebs on the ceilings/corners. Grab a dang swiffer and swiff that away! Ok, lets talk about the pool. First of the all, it was green and murky. I was a little concerned we would get a viral infection of some sort since it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages, but hey, we were on vacation and we all work in the medical field, so we took our chances (luckily we survived). The pool filter clearly doesn't work and if they do have a pool man, it is about time to start looking for a new one because he surely isn't doing his job. The casita, well as a previous renter wrote, the a/c doesn't work and I am here to confirm it does not, although the owner/manager replied to the previous renter that it does. Literal hot box. It also doesn't have a TV. The upkeep is horrible, there were holes in the walls, stained carpet. I could go on and on. I am writing this in hopes that the owner sees it, maybe he'll have the manager take care of these issues (although if you google his name, its pretty clear he doesn't manage his homes well!) Avoid this house like the plague. There are MANY other fabulous choices. This house does NOT deserve $1100/night.

Beautiful home, very spacious
This home is just like the pictures, maybe even a tad bigger than what you think. Overall we had a great experience. When we checked in, we noticed a few issues. They had a guy come out right away to fix it but some things just weren't fixable like a fan and light in one bedroom and one of the showers. It was nothing major tho. The pool and backyard, outdoor area was a hit, we even fished off the pond in the back. We would definitely come back!
