„We absolutely loved our stay at Liz and Jon's property! The home was spacious, clean and had every amenity you might need. The pier was large enough for all of us to sit, relax and fish (we caught many!) and we loved visiting the surrounding towns for shopping and having a drink at local breweries. Our puppy loved sniffing around the backyard and laying on the dock with us. Also, the hosts were always responsive leading up to and during the trip. We definitely want to come back in the future! “

„The cottage was Great, a very nice place. We enjoyed indoor and outdoor fires. Had fun in the kayaks and my dog even learned how to ride in the canoe! Only disappointment was no swimming. Water was not good quality. Did catch some small fish, even a couple enuf to have a snack on. Very private setting. Kari was always easy to get answer from too. “

„This was our second time at Hide-away-bay. Just like the first year, it didn’t disappoint. Kevin is a great host, and the property is wonderful. Perfect for a big family vacation. The beach area and water ‘toys’ were the favorite of the kids. Close enough to town, restaurants, shopping, yet secluded and peaceful. Will be back!“

„The owners of the property had great communication. This place was warm & cozy. The location is the best you can get in Manitowish. We could walk to the park, restaurants, get coffee, etc. we have a large pontoon and they had a great pier and access that made things easy. Our family loved it and would recommend this place to anyone. “

„We had a quick stay and mainly used the property to sleep and shower. It was in a lovely secluded place, very quiet!! Wish we would have had more time to enjoy it. Only thing I would suggest is that they clean the cobwebs out of the bathroom and the windows. Everything else was very clean!“

„We loved this property. The house was very nice and updated. Beds were very comfortable. And the beautiful 3 season room was so lovely with great views of lake. The lake was very clear and clean and the small sand area by the water was perfect for our young granddaughter. It is a small lake so very peaceful and we really appreciated the kayaks and paddle boat.“

„ The Hideaway literally lives up to its name. It took a couple of calls to the property management company to help us find the Hideaway. If seclusion is what one is looking for, then this is your place! We really enjoyed the beautiful, picturesque, peaceful lakeside setting. The property included a row boat which is great. The “cabin” has everything one would ever need for a comfortable stay including new appliances and well equipped kitchen. On the negative side, mice were an issue. A trap ...

„We had a 3 day stay with our 4 and 6 year old boys for their first “up north” experience. They very much enjoyed hunting for crayfish and snails by the dock. The water was nice and clear. Neil was very responsive and luckily we didn’t need any help during our stay but he called to check in that everything went well with check in. Only 10 minutes or so from all the experiences in Minocqua! “
