„The cabin was clean and covered the basics. The bed was not very comfortable and the AC unit did not cool the entire house well. The bathroom in particular stayed very hot. It was okay for a quick and cheap stay, but I wouldn’t want to stay more than a couple nights. We did enjoy the hot tub and appreciated good communication from the office when needed. “

„Getting to the property is a bit of a challenge, narrow drive up a steep gravel incline. The cabin was awesome, very clean and well furnished. The only thing I would complain about and it's nothing the host can do about it is the loud constant highway noise from the highway below while trying to relax on the front porch“

„We had a lovely time on the Tuckasegee River, enjoyed watching the Canadian geese, mallard ducks, also watching the Tuckasegee River Excursion Train go by across the river. Our stay was outstanding, our host went the extra mile by delivering us a bouquet of flowers. They truly made our day extra special. We plan to return again. “

The location is amazing with a beautiful stream in the back and trees all around. Communication and check-in were easy. We've stayed here twice now and loved it.“

„The cabin is an absolute 10 of 10 it had everything you could want from views to comfort to cleanliness. This is our second time staying at this cabin. It is right off highway 74 so you can get anywhere in the Smokies in a few minutes to 45 minutes. The area is beautiful but there is some highway noise but you can’t have a quick get away and not have some highway noise. All in all a great and enjoyable stay we highly recommend this cabin.“

"Vor dem Fenster war eine laute Lüftungsanlage, sodass man regelmäßig nachts aufgewacht ist. Das Badezimmer war recht schön, da es mit einer Dusche und keiner Badewanne ausgestattet war. Das Continental Breakfast war eher sehr einfach gehalten. "

"Verspricht absolut nicht, was auf den Bildern dargestellt ist. Viel abgewohnter, als im Internet! Wir hatten für 4 Personen das Zimmer gemietet, aber nur für 2 Personen Handtücher bekommen! Geht gar nicht! Dann war die Unterkunft mit Frühstück ausgeschildert. Da denkt man doch an einen Frühstücksraum schön mit Kaffee und zumindest continentalem Frühstück. Weit gefehlt!!! Man wird vor dem Haus auf ein paar ausrangierten Sesseln mit einem Pappteller mit Frühstücksburrito und einer Minizimtschnecke abgespeist, leider gibt’s auch für jeden nur das eine Minitellerchen. Auf Anfrage hat mein kein zweites bekommen. Bei einem Mann mit 188cm Körpergröße einfach ein Frühstück für den hohlen Zahn. Hotel absolut nicht zu empfehlen. Es hat in Cherokee genügend andere. "
