Wenn Sie eine große Familie oder eine Gruppe sind, auf der Suche nach einem Haus am Lake Winnipesaukee mieten, haben wir eine reizvolle, im viktorianischen Stil Haus für Sie!
Im Erdgeschoss gibt es zwei Schlafzimmer, ein Wohnzimmer mit einem Arbeitsgaskamin und ein Schreibtisch, eine komplett ausgestattete, Wohnküche, eine Waschküche und ein Badezimmer mit Wanne / Dusche-Kombination. Im Obergeschoss befinden sich fünf Schlafzimmer, ein TV-Raum mit Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle und Schlafsofa und zwei Badezimmer (eins mit Wanne / Dusche-Kombination, eines mit Dusche). Es gibt jede Menge Parkplätze.
Wenn Sie nur wollen, um es leicht zu nehmen, können Sie auf den vollen entspannen, Rundum-Veranda oder auf dem Garagendach Deck. Bis zum Tag, hat es eine hervorragende Aussicht auf den See und die Berge. Am Abend genießen Sie den klaren Nachthimmel, während Sie die bunten Lichter der Boote auf dem See. Am Freitagabend, das Feuerwerk ausgeschaltet sind direkt über die Straße aus dem Haus gesetzt.
Das Haus verfügt über eine unschlagbare Lage in Weirs Beach. Sie können alles zu Fuß erreichen. Überqueren Sie die Straße zum schönen öffentlichen Strand und Park. Gehen Sie die Promenade zu den Docks, wo Sie eine Bootsfahrt über den See nehmen können. Weiter unten auf der Strandpromenade finden Sie den Bahnhof, wo Sie eine landschaftlich reizvolle Zugfahrt entlang des Sees nehmen können zu finden. Es gibt zahlreiche Restaurants und Geschäfte zu Fuß erreichbar. Für Unterhaltung, ein Outdoor-Kino, Arkaden, Autofahrten und Minigolf sind alle zu Fuß erreichbar.

Great Place for Family Vacation

This was our second stay at Castle Rest, and probably won't be our last (although we may switch off with other beach towns going forward). The location can't be beat, the house is roomy and has charm and character to spare, and the porch is the perfect place to relax and admire the view. With 10 of us staying and more bedrooms than we actually needed, there was plenty of space for the kids to spread out and do their own thing. I did waffle between 4 or 5 stars under the "cleanliness" heading, not because the housekeeping staff doesn't do an excellent job, but because some needed minor repairs to the exterior are starting to add up. All the same, we wouldn't hesitate to come again!

Yearly beach / lake trip

Every year we a group of friends and our families go away. We have been to many houses over the years. There were several reasons we liked this house. Location to the beach, shops, restaurants was great. The house was clean when we arrived and well stocked. All linens and towels were provided and clean. They even provided some toiletries! It is definitely an older house but we loved the charm. There was plenty of room with multiple bedrooms, 2 living rooms, and the wrap around porch was an additional living space with amazing views of the lake. We were sad to go and will be back again!

Lots of character, lots of space, amazing location

We had a wonderful time, loved the house, and have already reserved it for next year. With just the 10 of us we had tons of room and could easily have fit more people. The area had a wide variety of things to do, enough to keep both the outdoorsy family members and the video game addicts happy. The kids loved the playhouse and having their own space to hang out upstairs. The adults congregated mostly in the kitchen and on the porch. We found the house well-equipped and didn't really need any extras. The household items I'd bring again are liquid hand soap (if you prefer liquid to bar soap), paper towels, extra dish towels, and maybe aluminum foil for grilling. I sometimes bring my own pillow and mattress topper when I travel but I totally didn't need them because the mattresses and pillows were plenty comfortable without. A few minor corrections to the listing: We double-checked the fireworks schedule before going and found out that they're no longer every Friday. We lucked out and happened to be there for a Saturday display but they're not an every week thing. And the Juliet balcony in the pics is currently unavailable for safety reasons. Plus, although there were some puzzles and other pastimes scattered about the house, the huge pile of board games shown in the laundry room photo was nowhere to be found—it wasn't a big deal, we just would have brought some of our own if we'd known. All the same, we loved the place enough to grab it again for next year!

LOVE This Home!

This was the 2nd year that we rented this amazing home for our very large family, enjoying our time together at Weirs Beach. The location cannot be beat, since anything and everything is ALL within walking distance, from arcades, ice cream, pubs and bars to hang out in, mini golf, and restaurants are all RIGHT THERE! And the view!!!!! Unbelievable, to say the least! GREAT vacation home!

Perfect location and great parking for the motorcycles, loved the outside patio, The only thing I would change is the check in process it would be nice to have a number code lock on the door or a lockbox with the key in it having to go get a key and return it at a different location then we were staying as we were on motorcycles… but you can’t beat the view!

Fantastic Home ! Amazing Vacation!!!

I have to say, if you are looking for that perfect home that needs to be able to accommodate your very large family, that has unbelievable views, and is in an area where there is that special something for everyone to enjoy, then this is the place for you!!! The advertisement for this home was right on, with SO many bedrooms and places for my entire family to spread out, yet lots of places for togetherness. The porch was awesome, and was a blessing during the rainy times. The patio was absolutely PERFECT for our large meal gatherings, since there were 25 of us altogether. Yes, I agree that perhaps it could have been a little cleaner, but with covid and the lack of staff to work, we were very pleased with the homeowners diligence in doing all that he could as far as the cleanliness. No complaints from us at all! I would highly recommend a stay at Castle Rest, for a vacation that will give you many wonderful memories to come!

Exactly what we expected!

The booking process and communication back-and-forth with the property manager was perfect heading into the week. Upon arrival the place was exactly what we expected and absolutely perfect for our large annual family gathering. Despite a bit of rain this week, we had a fantastic time and especially enjoyed the outdoor patio area which is big enough to accommodate a group of just about any size looking to have fun while enjoying the amazing views of the lake. All in all, this was a tremendous value for us.

This is a fantastic location with a beautiful lake front view.

The house is very large with plenty of space for for our family and friends. There was something to do for everyone. The porch was my favorite spot overlooking the lake and every hour during the day the train came by. Plenty of restaurants and activities within one and activities within walking distance. We all had a fantastic time! Communication and help was great!

Great location but wasn’t clean.

Location was perfect , set up of rooms were efficient . Definitely needs to be cleaned a lot better . Not sure if you hire a cleaning company because if you did they didn’t do there job well ! For example , not sure there was someone staying in the house the Friday before we got there but if there was and they checked at 10am . We got to the house at 1110 and there was no one there , so not sure how they can clean that big house in about an hour especially with the pandemic we are going through.

Labor Day week 2019

We rented this house to stay in the week of our daughter's wedding at the Margate. Lots of rooms! The bride and bridesmaids had room to get ready. The amount of stairs and the steepness of them was a drawback. Definitely not handicapped accessible. Lacking a few basics that we had to run to the store for the 1st night like soap in the bathrooms. All in all a good experience.

Perfect!

This house was perfect for our family of 10, with plenty of room!! The A/C worked fabulously which was important as we were there during the hottest stretch of summer with temps in the upper 90,s. The location could not have been more perfect! Directly across from the beach, and just a minute walk to the pier, we were in the center of all the activity and fun, and a birds eye view to the wonderful fireworks on Saturday night! The house was stocked with everything you could possibly need, and very clean. It was a wonderful vacation and I would definitely rent this house again!
