"My husband and I came on our 5th year wedding anniversary. I couldn't have asked for a better outcome, I loved that everything was centrally located . It was easy to get around, we went hiking which wasn't far away, we went out for ice cream which again was right across the street. The food at skoogs was amazing and the owner of this rental also owns the bar and grill downstairs which I thought was amazing because if we needed anything she was right there. I will for sure be coming back and...

"Wedding party used two properties of Thomas’ which had hallway separating for our entire wedding party. Bridesmaids on one side and groomsmen on other and all were college friends who loved being able to spend time together visiting and playing games in between wedding events. Worked perfectly! Really nice properties and safe!"

"My cousin was getting married at Starved Rock Lodge, and I really wasn’t excited with the price to stay there and 2 night minimum. Searched VRBO and immediately loved this place. I originally booked for Fri and Sat night, but ended up having to change it to Sat and Sun because my son had prom. The owner couldn’t get the dates changed through the app, but she blocked an extra day off so I could stay Sat and Sunday:) It was a bit hard to find the unit because there was no longer a spice shop...

"We had three adults, clean. the bedrooms were very spacious each had its own TV. Nice kitchen, very small table not big enough for more than two adults Served our purpose, since we were there to hike. Be advised, no common sitting area, other than in the bedrooms."

"Very nice and clean apartment. Both rooms were perfect for we needed lots of closet space and storage and a nice bed to sleep on. Good amenities and everything worked well. Only small issue we had was bathroom door didnt latch closed bit we used the matt to hold it shut and worked for us. Kitchen was nice and everything worked well and they had a nice little dining table for us. Over all great place to unwind and enjoy time not spent out and about with the family."

"We had 8 adults on a motorcycle ride weekend. The apartment fit all 8 of us comfortably. There are two rooms with queen (maybe king?) sized beds, another with a bunk bed with a double on the bottom and single on top. Along with a pullout couch, and two rollaway beds/cots. This is our second stay at this host's properties, and I would not hesitate to stay there again! Thanks Thomas!"
