This spectacular condo is located in the heart of West Maui at the prestigious Honua Kai Resort. It is an ideal place to watch sunsets with your loved ones on the wrap-around shared lanai and experience the meaning of paradise! This beautiful 1320 sf condo features gorgeous furniture pieces and wood-like tile flooring throughout. The kitchen is fully appointed and has granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The oversized, undivided lanai features spectacular glass doors for you to look out onto the beautiful view from the living room. Both bedrooms have comfortable king size beds and, with the addition of a king size sofa bed, it sleeps up to 6 guests. The condo includes two bathrooms, a washer & dryer, free wi-fi and parking. This exquisitely unique indoor/outdoor setting is truly Honua Kai “at its best”.

Prime, upscale location offers a vast variety of amazing things to do and experience on Maui. There are 5 star restaurants, championship golfing, luxury shopping, world class white sand beaches, and crystal blue water as far as the eye can see.

Honua Kai resort has 3 acres of swimming pools (with water slide), 5 hot tubs, a fitness center, spa and additional pool and hot tubs at the new Luana Villas (on the property). The resort also features Aina Gourmet Market and Duke's Restaurant, - serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Resort fee is $75
NO SMOKING IN CONDO OR ON THE LANAI. The state of Hawaii has a strict no smoking ordinance. Smoking is allowed only in designated areas. Fines and extra cleaning fees for violating this rule is strictly enforced.

Fabulous!!
Great property! Even better than expected from the listing! Amazing sunsets and beautiful landscaping. Being able to get drinks and food from Dukes was a big plus. We had an issue with our washing machine and property manager was very attentive and it was fixed promptly. We would absolutely go back!!

A great property with awesome space!!
We were very happy with the space and amenities offered at this property! We were a bit apprehensive about the "shared lanai," but while it may not offer the privacy other units might have, it worked well for us. If you don't like soft beds, this might not be the place for you. Probably the softest bed I've ever slept on. Loved the folding doors to open up to the lanai! Also, great privacy inside with bedrooms on opposite ends of unit with very few shared walls.

Perfect spot for a family vacation
The property and condo were great. Spacious living areas and bedrooms. Stocked with all the essentials for a week at the beach. Pool and amenities were fantastic, particularly for families with you kids. The huge terrace was a fantastic place for morning coffee or dinner. Would definitely recommend.

We absolutely LOVED our stay here! This truly is a hidden gem and my family and I enjoyed every minute of our stay. From the spacious room to the unbelievably gorgeous views. Highly recommend and we definitely plan on booking our next stay here again. The only tiny thing we noticed was the dryer took several cycles to dry clothes completely but far from a deal breaker. Wonderful
This room is wonderful. The resort is amazing, everything within walking distance and convenient. The room is clean and comfortable. We loved the short walk to beach,pools and coffee. The beach chairs and other items were great to have. Communication was fast when issues arised (minor fixes) & the maintenance team was quick and friendly. If I had anything bad to say it would be the cost of eating out. Very expensive at the resort, I’d recommend a Costco trip before arrival. We did find some good eateries plus food trucks close by though. I would highly recommend this unit and would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic resort and unit!
We stayed in Honua Kai 215 the first week of June. We've stayed at countles VRBO rentals over the years and this is one of just a few that exceeded the description and pictures on the listing. Both the resort and the unit exceeded our expectations. We would stay here again without second thought. Our kids loved the pool and snorkeling from the beach on the property. A couple points to note: 1) Having read some of the other less positive reviews I was a little anxious about the painting project on the property, and the shared lanai. However, neither was an issue. Other than the equipment in the courtyard it was barely noticeable. I wouldn't be surprised if the work on the Hokulani tower is done by now. It seemed very close when we were there and was isolated to the front of the tower nearest the pool. We did not have issues with workers using the shared lanai for our unit and never had issue with any other guest attempting to use the space. The shared lanai is no less private than sitting on one of the private lanais separated by a glass wall and 15 ft of open space, in my opinion. 2) The wifi name and password was different than what was shared in our check-in information. The current name and password can be found on the back of the router next to the TV in the living room. Had I not recently updated the equipment for our own Internet service at home I might not have known where to look. All in all we had an amazing time and hope to return again sometime in the future!

False Advertising & Difficult to Deal with
1. Private Lanai was not Private. This unit was listed as having a large private lanai. VRBO listing clearly stated that this unit has one of the largest private lanai's on the property. It was not private and was actually shared with many other units & has a door to the main building meaning anyone could enter your space. 2. Door lock to the shared Lanai was broken. The door from the unit to the Lanai had a broken lock. We reported this & during our two-week stay, no one came to fix it. It was especially problematic given the shared lanai Others have mentioned this issue in reviews. 3. Uncommunicated Construction. We reserved this unit in April 2022 for a trip in March 2023. We were never warned that we would be unable to use our lanai during our 2-week trip due to construction, the lanai was filthy, there was a constant stream of construction crews using our it as their main pathway from the hotel to the construction happening on the outside of the building. We had zero privacy. Having travelled from Vancouver it was highly disappointing to not being able to enjoy any outdoor dining/relaxing from our unit after having specifically booked this unit due to what was marketed as a "large private lanai". My 16 month old son fell b/c of the sticky residue from the construction crews. 4. Lack of action from the Property Manager. It took 4 wks of fighting to receive any financial compensation due to our issues. I would not book with this Property Manager/unit again.

Amazing condo at a gorgeous resort
We love Honua Kai and have rented plenty of stays here before. This time we opt for something bigger for both grandmas to enjoy with us and boy were we taken back by the well pointed huge. The condo was pretty huge and an enormous balcony (views of both pool and water). Very clean, lots of seating areas and wonderful beachy decor. The receptiveness of the customer service was very much appreciated. Even left us some snacks upon our arrival. We will definitely be referring to friends and staying here again, if available. Disappointed by lack of privacy
Arrived with front door not closing and slider glass door won't lock. Worst part then was the workers about 12 or so using our patio for in and out of job site. At 7:40 each day except weekend they walk by my bedroom window and living room were we are. I had grandkids and could let them play on patio because the workers were going in and out threw a side door and our patio. Would not book again threw Epic manui vacation rentals And Vrbo.

Christmas in Maui
My husband, our adult son and myself stayed at the 215 - 2 bedroom condo. We had rented another condo in the same resort for our 2 adult daughters and their spouses. We spent the Christmas holidays in Maui and this condo was the headquarters for all our family gatherings. Everything worked like clockwork for our stay. Check in was a breeze, the view was great and the condo was wonderful, with lovely décor. Kim responded quickly to any questions we had about the condo. We would definitely come back to the Honua Kai.

Epic Realty horrible - do not book with them!!!!!
The property itself is very nice. It was the management group that this was booked through that was terrible. When we arrived our room wasn't ready and we had to wait till 6:30 pm to get our luggage and have access to our room. We had booked a vacation during a time that they were painting and the only correspondence we received from Epic Realty was that there was potential for our room to be affected. Never an offer for refund or change of room. When we arrived there was a sign on door to the lanai that it was dangerous and we couldn't use it. The furniture was stacked and covered, there was trash from the workers who were on our lanai many times through our stay, heavy machinery in our view and running and beeping constantly. Also the heavy machinery had a lift bucket that was on our lanai often! We attempted to speak with Epic Realty many times with promises of a response that never came. They did refund a very small amount (5%) before taxes and fees but compared to the flash sale of 25% that they were offering to new customers at the time was definitely less than acceptable. When you travel to paradise and save for such a memorable vacation, you expect more and if it would have been their own personal vacation, I am sure they would have been less than satisfied with the circumstances! Their competitors in this space are doing a much better job and offering refunds or a change in room or property as we have learned from friends who have a reservation for this week. Make sure when you are booking reservations on any third party website that they are not the property management team you are booking under and working with because they don't care about you or your vacation!

Our family of six (four adults, two children) had a great July 4th stay for a week. This condo is spacious, well equipped, and has incredible sunset view. Duke’s restaurant is onsite and the beach in front of the resort is great too. We’ve stayed at Honua Kai several times and this was the nicest unit we’ve been in to date.

Great stay and property!
We had an amazing stay at this property and the hotel amenities were great as well! It is a beautiful, well appointed condo prefect for a relaxing vacation. The beds, pillows, and living room furniture were all very comfortable and much needed after 10 days being on 2 different islands, Maui being our third and this was our 4th hotel. This stay was designed to relax and recharge before our long long flights home and it fit the bill! Would stay again!!!
